    I feel oddly optimistic about this game which invites disappointment I know. This City side aren't the destroyer of worlds team of before albeit still very good. It would be a shock if we lost badly anyway. But who knows with their money if they need a win, our players hands need to be tied behind the backs and not give even a whiff of a stud showing the wrong way etc

    Trigger Point is so daft. Entertaining but daft. Very much '24' vibes with all the unlikely situations and choices that have to be made.

    Considering the first 30 minutes, that was a very comfortable game in the end. Could and perhaps should have been 3 or 4. Moreno was really poor though, so hopefully we see Digne start on Wednesday. Good hustle from many of the players, Zaniolo showed good energy coming on. Great to see another goal and assist for Diaby too. And a cleansheet thanks to Emi. All round a good day

    good half eventually. Take Moreno off though, need Digne on to give us some balance down that side. Creating some better last third play, but not sharp enough, but still more goals there for us

    Hmm, enjoyed season 1 but first half of the new season barely raised a titter at all. Last couple of episodes have been much better. Although a massive gross out moment with one kiss scene. Very depressing episode that one, featuring Julian Barratt's character. But partly I get bored very quickly with young people doing the whole 'aren't I stupid in love' shtick. Either develop and grow up or its just tedious and cringy when one episode it looks like there's some emotional progress and then the next they're back to **** again. Will say I'm sleep deprived and a tad grumpy at the moment so I might be being harsh, but there were a couple of real duff episodes this season I thought.

    Post season friendlies anywhere are insanely stupid. Have the big exhibition matches in July fine, but end of May is **** stupid. Why would any player want to bother with it? You'd be all ready for holiday mode and then asked to play in those games. Insane. I'd be mad if we did that. Not sure how any fan could argue its anything but stupid

    Last few weeks I've started watching TNG for the first time I have vague memories of it being on initially when I was a kid but never really got into it then or much of a star wars or star trek fan. But damn nearly 5 seasons in and its mostly very very good! Though does feel like almost every other episode is another case of data learning about humanity. Thought he'd have picked it up by now
