  1. at some point in time we'll all end up in this thread or at the least, not participating anymore
  2. Same here. It used to break my heart having to destroy the programmes I’d carefully looked after. Cutting the corner off on the back page It was worth it though just to get a ticket.
  3. A great picture of social history and the old Trinity. back in the day when you had to queue for hours and hours for tickets. Season ticket holders, programme stubs. Some of our fans will have no idea about this edit: i remember queuing many a time for long hours.
  4. ah yes, i'd forgot about that......and then there was the house a couple of doors down where you could leave your push bike for a couple of bob
  5. Photo credit that place formally known as twitter Witton Lane sometime in the 80's There used to be a good chippy in the row of houses just behind from where the photo was taken
  6. get the key ready, we might very well need him!!
  7. fair point, but it's amazing how certain stats see themselves out like bogey teams for example. You can have a so called bogey team who you struggle to beat over the year. The teams change throughout that time but somehow the results stay the same. That said, records are there to be broken. One things for sure, this will not be an easy game, but if we are focussed and disciplined we should have enough to get the three points. It will be a big disappointment if we don't.
  8. equally there's plenty that give it the thumbs up.
  9. Seems like UB40 are doing something with them (well whoever is left of UB40 that is) Love this reposte which is actually true !!!
  10. not sure everyone was hoping this would be a disaster!!! As a fan who can't get to many games and struggles to get tickets, when i used it for the Luton game it was a huge success for me. I'd happily use it again and for me, for the odd game or two it's great value. It's just what the club needs to help increase revenue and just what fans like me need to get to see a game at VP.
  11. the stats don't bode too well with him in charge
  12. said it before many a time, nobody knows what is and isn't offside these days...... and that includes the officials....it's all so random and varies from match to match
  13. never heard of them but seems to be legit checking here https://www.getsafeonline.org/checkawebsite/ https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/plan.com I think i'd be doing a tad more research though before accepting anything
  14. fair point, trade off some names for a lighter sentence.....suppose it works so long as your fellow inmates don't find out. Otherwise it's don't drop the soap in the showers.
  15. good point and also worth mentioning that it’s is first game in, well, ages and he would not have expected to play. So a very professional performance under the circumstances.
  16. The football we played in the first half was superb. Football of the highest quality. Yes, we can bemoan a poor goal to give away from the corner, but that was as much as Forest did in the first half. Then, we lose Pau, they get a second very early into the 2nd half and the mood in VP changes. The character the team showed was fantastic and we could have had more goals in the second half. A very pleasing win. For all the plaudits, (quite rightly) that Bailey, Watkins and Luiz are getting, i thought Tielemans was superb and had he put the one away that hit the post his performance would have stood out more. An unsung hero today and my motm. Happy days and another shot to the naysayers who said the season was over when Kamara suffered an ACL..........It's not very gracious of me but sod it.....up yours and UTV
  17. i know it's hard to get your head around it, it is for me and many others.... but, it's the turd that won't flush, sponsored by Minworth shit farm. the stain on the name of the City mate
  18. JFC !!!!! The bias from Sky towards Manure is beyond a joke. It's so fecking annoying. They lost, they're 6th yet Sky football go straight to reporting on them after the results are read out and it's all about Manure. It's all about Manure and the Jim Ratcliffe revolution. Absolute bunch of hand gallopers. We are 4th, win an entertaining game but no, it's the Manure road show. Dreadful
