Horrible club, horrible owners, horrible manager, horrible fans. Not much to like really.

I’ve given up even trying to buy new kit for the kids over the summer, when they want to wear it on holiday etc. Such a missed opportunity by the club. Kids aren’t bothered by the time they’re back in school in September.

I really don’t mind the banter on here and to be honest, he wouldn’t care less would he? He’s living the dream with a top club and his obscene money etc. We can laugh but he’s still played in a Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid in the Bernabeu, something he was unlikely to do with us unfortunately. We’re absolutely miles away from living that dream.

The current Brazil no10 and going into a World Cup season. Why wouldn’t we sign him? If we can do the numbers, which I’m sure we can, then it’s a no brainer.

Lost 7-0 to Arsenal this afternoon and quite honestly it could have been 10 or more. Was always going to be a difficult fixture and missing Allen and Scott didn’t help but I expected a little more from us. We’ve got a lot to do in the summer again in order to be competitive next season. A striker or two is an absolute must for starters but we probably need 5 or 6 players again of better quality.

I like him and you can see his qualities. He’ll want a good start to next season to secure his place in the french first eleven in Qatar.

Axel is 25 in November and really needs to start playing regular football now. Honestly don’t think he’s good enough for a Premier League team. We’ve actually done better getting Chambers on a free.

The return of Deano and I think it’ll be quite emotional, especially at the start when he comes out and gives everyone a wave. However, we need to be as professional as we can and win the game, simple as. Norwich are bottom for a reason, they’re a poor side. Now I know what team I’d like to see but I also know what team Gerrard is likely to start the game with. Either way, we should have enough quality to get the three points. If everything clicks, we could see another Southampton performance and win by three or four goals.
