I agree in that we should be starting Kamara, Luiz and Ramsey most games this season, unless a new no8 is signed. McGinn obviously won’t like it but I do feel we’re outgrowing him now.

Full season playing in the Championship would be the right decision for him I feel. The guy needs to playing most weeks for his development and then he can really push Cash next summer/season. Young and Chambers can cover Cash this coming season. Guilbert will go probably this week.

Luiz has to start most games along with Kamara. It’s then do you pick Ramsey or McGinn to play alongside them?

This guy is so underrated and probably because he was a free transfer. A fantastic purchase and very valuable squad member.

As expected and barring injuries, this team will be very close to what starts at Bournemouth. Can only see Luiz, Bailey or Buendia possibly coming in, but eight or nine of these are nailed on to start the season opener now.

Interesting read. I actually agree that the Arsenal kit this season is a winner and their away shirt is a thing of beauty. However, I’m just not keen on the Man Utd home or away and surprised it has scored so highly?

We’re very close to that I think? Unless he signs a five year deal now and states all the press reports were nonsense. Either way, we’ll know in the next week or so how this is going to play out. Real shame, but I’m not going to lose any sleep over over him.

Absolute classic sci-fi/action movie and still stands up well today. Easily in my top five favourite movies of all time. Fun fact, the inspiration for the film came from a joke that after Rocky IV, Stallone had run out of opponents on Earth. If they made another film, he'd have to fight an alien. Jim and John Thomas were inspired by that and wrote Hunter, which became Predator. There are also so many stories about how Jean Claude Van Damme was once the Predator. Why that ended is up for debate? Maybe it's because Van Damme was ony 5'9″. Or it could have been because all Van Damme did was complain about the suit being so hot that he kept passing out? Or maybe the original design just didn't work. The Stan Winston redesign? I'm a fan of Predator 2 as well, but the first film is absolutely the best of the franchise. The ultimate hunter against the ultimate soldier? It is what a sci-fi/action movie should be.

In brief, the Assembly Cut is an extended version of the film (approx 30 minutes longer). It is a reworking of the movie, adding several major sequences (beginning) and even entirely new subplots while also removing some scenes found in the theatrical version. I have it on DVD and personally prefer this version but some people don’t. If you can, it’s worth a watch and then decide which you like more?

I do like Event Horizon as well. Quite a scary film on first viewing 20 odd years ago. You’re in luck as well, a quick google shows a 25th Anniversary UHD version coming very soon (8 August 2022) and at a decent preorder price

Good point. I seem to recall Purslow saying that it’s far easier to pay big wages after your third year in the Premier League or something similar? Not sure how Forest can possibly pay someone approx £200k p/w?

I still have Talksport on in the car going to and from work. I also still put the odd Villa game on the radio (usually WM) if I can’t find a suitable dodgy stream.

Alien3 was on a freeview channel last night, think it may have been ITV4? It’s still a guilty pleasure of mine. It has its faults but I can watch it anytime and still enjoy it for what it is. For those who haven’t seen the extended Assembly Cut of the movie, may want to check it out.

Thanks for the concise list . I agree that the bottom six are the most likely to be moved on either now or in January. If we can move three out minimum in the next week we’ll have done well.

At least when we play Leeds this season, Mings will get less stick now.
