  1. Digne needs to be a lot closer to Fraser and stop his delivery.
  2. Hangover after the Leeds game? Similar to Leeds against Everton yesterday, neither of us look at it. Strange.
  3. Winning 2-0 at half time. Would be a very good result if we can see this one out and would put us on 16 points. C’mon ladies.
  4. Winning 1-0 at Everton this afternoon. Still early in the game but fingers crossed for a positive result.
  5. Clearly he has an ongoing issue with his shins which prevent from playing every game during a season. However, his lifestyle is such that it can’t be doing his body any good can it? I’m not going to say it’s drugs, alcohol, sleeping pills, takeaways or excessive shagging, but he’s certainly no elite sportsman right now. I really get the impression that we may have another Collymore, Gazza, situation where no amount of money can stop you having some form of depression. Perhaps being in the spotlight 24/7 is just too much? I said this previously but Jack needs some help and support, and quickly or his career is going to nosedive fast.
  6. Newcastle have unfortunately improved over the last 4/5 weeks and the crowd are now behind them, but their frailties are still there for all to see. Targett will be a big miss for them and if Trippier doesn’t make it either, then I can’t see them shutting us out all game. Even if Burn is now fit, they’ll struggle to contain us. Gerrard has a couple of big decisions to make this weekend. Chambers will likely get his first start for the suspended Konsa but Hause is surely the better match up against a low on confidence Chris Wood? I would probably go Hause myself because his aerial ability against the likes of Wood, Joelinton, Lascelles, Burn etc will be crucial I think. I also think Buendia will be ok to start. The other big decision at this point is do we go with Watkins or Ings? Watkins certainly suits our style/shape better but appears to be out of sorts. I think I’d stick with Watkins again to start but I’m kinda in a last chance to impress scenario now with him. If he can’t ruffle up this Newcastle defence and have a good game, then Ings deserves to start the next match. Probably obvious to say but if we can keep ASM quiet, I’m confident of a positive result. We surely can’t defend as badly as we did against Leeds. Going to say 1-3 win. Martinez Cash Hause Mings Digne McGinn Luiz Ramsey Buendia Coutinho Watkins Subs: Olsen, Chambers, Chrisene, Young, Iroegbunam, Sanson Chukwuemeka, Bailey, Ings
  7. I really don’t think we can drop McGinn. He was certainly off it last night and didn’t seem his combative self but he’s important to how we play. It’ll be another battle at the weekend. Replacing Konsa will be interesting to see because Chambers should be his natural replacement. However, taking into account the opposition (ie Wood), Hause would be a far better match. I think Gerrard will go with Chambers though. Just hope Coutinho and Buendia recover fully to both start.
  8. Jacob Ramsey, he’s one of our own.
  9. Honestly, dropping McGinn for the weekend is not going to happen. We have far more things to worry about right now.
  10. He’ll be pleased with some of our attacking play first half but furious with our defending throughout the whole game. At times it was shambolic. Dan James should not be winning a header in our six yard box. Countless times there running off the ball meant that we were chasing shadows. He’ll be disappointed tonight.
  11. Leeds know how to keep the football so well but boy they also know the dark arts. We were literally kicked off the park. 3-1 up going into half time, we shouldn’t have the conceded the second. Set the tone for the second half and we never looked like scoring again. The third Leeds goal was therefore inevitable in the end. We have to stop the sloppy defending.
  12. Was having a poor game even before his sending off, but crikey what a stupid second yellow.
  13. Good. If he didn’t fully appreciate the seriousness of the situation, perhaps he now will.
  14. ASM was certainly the difference last night. Wood looks to be completely out of form and lacking confidence right now. Trippier and Targett were solid and obviously improved the back line. However, make no mistake, Everton were pretty much woeful for the whole game. They have given themselves a very good chance of staying up now but it won’t be easy. Targett can’t play at the weekend against us and Trippier could be a doubt also after coming off with a calf injury. If ASM gets injured and misses games then they’ll continue to struggle right until the end of the season. Everton could be the ones to watch because Frank needs to find a winning formula and quickly.
  15. and I think that shows how much West Ham care about the situation. Poor.
  16. I’ve said this a couple times over the last 12 months but Jack needs some serious help, support and guidance from the right people. I do fear that we may have another Gazza here, where the undoubted flaws in his make up prevent him from being truly elite. Ultimately, his career will suffer, as it already is. Can see him rocking up at Newcastle within the next 18 months.
  17. As a cat owner and ours is 19 years old and still going strong (thankfully), I’m absolutely disgusted by this. Everyday we’re so grateful that ours is still with us and the kids love him to bits. At the very least, he/they shouldn’t be allowed to own a pet for a long time. The RSPCA should remove the cat or cats and they should then be given to a family that’ll cherish them dearly. Zouma is just a vile human being. Edit - the fact he even starts the game tonight says a lot about the club and manager.
  18. Very good appointment. The start of them cherry picking the best staff for each role.

Many thanks for link. Haven’t heard of them but almost identical to one’s that I’ve been looking at. Really appreciate it
  20. He’s had a really good game today. Enjoy the celebrations Keinan
  21. That is totally disgusting and that cretin needs to be banned for life from attending any football match again. Disgraceful.
  22. He’s not a Forest player but that Djed Spence looks a decent player/full back. Only 21 as well.
