  1. Great in the first half, anonymous in the second. Think a lot of that had to with the change of flow to the game and our substitutions. Hopefully he can kick on from this.
  2. I'm happy to give him some grace, he was very much part of the team that played good football and picked up points between Feb and May last year. Much prefer him to KEA too.
  3. Some real holier than thou shit going down right now.
  4. Bored, fed up, pilled up and dating Johnnie Walker Blue.
  5. So by that we shouldn't comment on anything that has happened? Add to that the ones saying we should wait and see what happens before we form an opinion does that mean there is nothing to talk about? A straw man argument is where you mis characterize the position of another, and then attack that caricature as if it was the original posters position. There's a difference between "we shouldn't comment on anything that is happening." And recognizing that hindsight is 20/20 and when using every honest mistake, unforeseen consequence, calculated risk, and negative result, is magnified as if it were a deliberate choice that preferred the bad outcome. You're not too foolish to see the difference between the two. Can't understand why you would pretend that you are. Because not everything, in this case Big John, talked about is hindisght. Hence the caricaturisation. But you knew that too.
  6. Hope we can hold on to him and we do not lose him to one of the `big boys' like Daniel Crowley. See Crowley is injured. Karma? Pathetic?
  7. Must be....the chart seems very clear And therefore largely inaccurate
  8. So according to that graph Lowton is as a better defender than Cole or Ivanovic.........
  9. Good loan signing. Think that his Chelsea career is over but come the summer, after suitably impressing for us, he'll have plenty of options and hopefully we are the one he chooses.

  11. And do you believe the players he had were worth that 200k?
  12. In reality, no-one has. It's the accusation thrown when you refuse to be as negative as someone wants you to be. It always has been, going back to MON "the messiah"(sic). Which, in this case, is to be negative about literally everything that ever happens at the club. Its almost like there's no one on here who is endlessly positive no matter what happens too.
  13. People can form an opinion but it just seems odd* that in forming that opinion, his season in the Premier League where he scored 15 league goals under Lambert is being; if not completely ignored; certainly massively downplayed in favour of much more negative, not to mention subjective, criteria. * well I say 'odd'. It isn't really, in the sense that I know perfectly well what people's motives are for reaching their negative conclusion. What are these motives then? Bertrand is a good player and signing. Just saying.
  14. Good player, shame its a loan, shame Lambert has already previously spent money on two LB's.
  15. The fat jibes are as sad as those claiming he isn't overweight. You also know when a player is in that category when he is compared to non athletes as if that makes it ok.
  16. Did we play good football & pick up points between Feb & May last season?
  17. James Nursey just has one of those faces.......
  18. Whether I like it or not I get mostly what has happened during Randy's tenure and the reasons for doing it except the appointment of McLeish, it is, as already stated, bizarre.
  19. Grealish and Wilson very much something to smile about.
  20. Not sure it is a fact and you brought it up.
  21. Because they don't do it as much as us? Especially as a percentage which is what you originally brought up to prove some sort of point about Lambert over Laudrup. And I corrected myself to say they've played more long balls, which they have. Well only according to some link at thisisanfield, whoscored which I think that was previously taken from has them down as playing less. The whole point was pointless.
  22. Interviewer: "Brad, what do you think about Villa signing Holt?" BG: "Shit awful." Interviewer: "Oh ok, wasn't expecting that, I thought you'd say something good like it was a no brainer. Never mind, erm do you know how many long balls you play?"
