  1. Chavez Jr. UD - 120-108, 116-112, 117-111

Good performance from Chavez, worth a watch. Not ready for the Cotto's and Martinez's that have been mentioned. Foreman would be a good fight though.

    Gabby 1(1)-0 [2pts]

    Me 1(0)-0 [1pts]

A prediction league with two people :lol:

Also TWI, White Ralph Lauren big (blue) pony with the 3 on the side in a medium. In today - interested? 8)

  2. Bent is a far better finisher than Suarez

    Where's all this proof then?

I'm guessing you rarely watch Dutch football if not at all.

You are categorically saying that someone who scored 47 goals last season is a worse finisher than someone who only scored around 20.

I don't care what league you play in, 47 goals is impressive and the way you are righting him off is absurd.

    lol :notworthy:

    Oh nooo, a grammatical error.

Spelling and/or word choice error tbf

  3. I don't see any denial of you being a guido.

    Oh dear.

    Look harder.

Above picture of a guido = inaccurate. Ergo, not a guido. I also don't have a spray tan or wear wifebeaters.

    Stay in college :thumb:

  4. So you're effectively saying that you are a guido?

I'm effectively saying that the above picture is an inaccurate photographic representation and you will be hearing from my lawyers

  5. Meet Gabby everyone.

Incorrect hair, lack of sunglasses, my belt is better & I also wear Calvin Klein, not some walmart looking pants. Also no fruity necklace or holes in my jeans.

    Shame really

  6. Why don't Gabby reveal himself into the Rogue Gallery, him and his higlighted blonde tips ;)

As it so happens I reverted back to that hairstyle a few weeks ago, takes a slick really bad person to pull it off though 8)

If you say so. Do you use fake tan aswell?

    Yep 8)

  8. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and John Duddy made weight without issues for Saturday's clash for the WBC' silver middleweight title. Chavez-Duddy headlines Top Rank's Latin Fury 15 pay-per-view from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Chavez Jr. weighed the division limit at 160-pounds, and Duddy was a pound under at 159. Both fighters were in excellent shape.

Marco Antonio Barrera, fighting for the first time since the loss to Amir Khan from March 2009, weighed in at 141-pounds. The tough Brazilian, Adailton De Jesus, was 138-pounds. There appeared to be some controversy on the stage with the camps of both fighters. The fight was set for a max weight of 138. A deal was struck between both sides, with De Jesus receiving a couple of extra bucks, for the fight to get a weight bump to 141.

  9. Former BALCO founder Victor Conte, regarded as one of the leading experts on performance enhancing drugs, believes Floyd Mayweather Jr. is justified in requesting random Olympic style drug testing for a potential fight with Manny Pacquiao.

Conte appeared on BoxingScene.com's official audio show, Leave It In The Ring Radio, and gave his thoughts on the Mayweather-Pacquiao drug testing debate. Negotiations for Mayweather-Pacquiao fell apart earlier this year because the two fighters were unable to agree on the cut-off date for the random drug testing. The fight is back on the table and currently being negotiated for a tentative November date.

Until the BALCO lab was raided in 2003, Conte had a four year run of helping major athletes beat the system by taking performance enhancing drugs and then showing them how to avoid detection.

Conte finds Pacquiao's rise in the sport "suspicious" - because of the many weight divisions that he crossed, while keeping his physical strengths, and his infamous ability to train hard for five to six hours a day during training camp. Pacquiao is the first seven division champion in the history of the sport. He began fighting as a teenager at 106-pounds and now campaigns as the WBO welterweight champion.

"At the very least I would say it's highly suspicious," Conte said, "Going up that many weight divisions and not only maintaining but increasing the strength and power. It's just not something you see. Is he possibly just a genetic freak? I guess that's possible, but its certainly highly suspicious."

"Moving up five or six weight classes and becoming faster and more powerful, yet [staying] very lean. Without the use of performance enhancing drugs....just the stories I hear alone about training for five or six hours a day....you just can't do that."

"It's just rumors at this point, but I think there is certainly reason to target test."

"Let me tell you something man, Pacquiao wouldn't even fight Mosley at 140," remarked world-class trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., who sounded extremely doubtful that a clash between his son and Manny Pacquiao would come to fruition any time soon. In a recent conversation with FightHype.com, Mayweather Sr. continued his verbal assault on the Filipino icon. "Lil Floyd dominated him at 147, so if you're afraid to fight Mosley where he would be a dead man, what you gonna do with Floyd," he added, using Mayweather's dominance over future Hall of Famer Shane Mosley as a barometer for what his son will do to Pacquiao should the two ever step into the ring.

The fact that Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, is on record stating that he purposely turned down a fight with Mosley because he's "too good a fighter", leads Mayweather Sr. to believe that Team Pacquiao isn't negotiating in good faith and is reluctant to face Mayweather after his dominant win over Shane Mosley this past May. "Man, Shane would have been a zombie at 40 and Roach still wouldn't step up to the plate and fight him," Mayweather Sr. added, quick to remind everyone that Pacquiao turned down an opportunity to face Mosley, the WBA welterweight champion at the time and widely recognized as the top fighter in the division, at 140 pounds. Pacquiao instead chose to fight Miguel Cotto, the WBO welterweight champion at the time, at a catch-weight of 145 pounds.

Although both sides have kept quiet regarding negotiations for a potential showdown, Mayweather Sr. is of the opinion that there isn't going to be a fight unless Pacquiao is willing to agree to their initial terms, including the issue of random blood testing. "Pacquiao don't want to fight Lil Floyd! If he did, he could make it happen," Mayweather remarked, hinting that Team Mayweather's stance hasn't changed and that the ball is still in Team Pacquiao's court. Whether or not they're any closer to making the fight a reality than they were last December remains to be seen, but judging from Floyd Mayweather Sr.'s comments, it doesn't sound like it.

  10. Big Tyson Fury was bigger than ever ahead of the much-anticipated rematch with John McDermott. Weighing in at 19 stone 4, eclipsing his debut weight 18 months ago and 23 pounds heavier than in the first contest. McDermott looked more trim despite a characteristic weight of 18 stone 2, or 254 pounds. Surprisingly Fury, who attended in typically jovial mood seemed in reasonable shape but the weight doesn’t strongly suggest his preparation for this fight hasn’t been as intense as perhaps it should have been. McDermott certainly appears fixated on victory this time and with McDonnell in his ear, may yet find the resolve and self-belief to make the final step.

At yesterday’s press conference there were once again suggestions of ‘beastings’ at the hands of diminutive Jim McDonnell and it would be healthy to see Big Bad John get some reward for the additional effort he has clerly made to get in tip-top condition. The brief video of the weigh in is available at Maloney Promotions Youtube site….or you could just click here.

    Two fat bastards

  11. i object to that final statement, in gabbys post.

tbh it just sounds like stress, you just finished your exams (or still studying?) and are waiting for your future to be decided basically. people tend to undestimate or misunderstand the effects of stress on people, or how it even manifests itself.

you should just chill, enjoy the WC and get the crap out of your mind for a while. it's not easy but stress can be a right word removed if you let it fester.

or do what i do and get some whiskey in yeeee.

I'll try and chill for a bit but it's been like it for a while tbh, hopefully it'll pass. As milfner mentioned I do tend to overthink sometimes so that might contribute as well

Birmingham Airport is rammed this morning with fat chavs and even worse I have so far seen 2 sty dwelling pig **** shirts. I feel sick

Yearly flocking to Magaluf, Malia & Zante?

  12. Hmm, sounds exactly like my mate really, he reckons he has.

His Mom has it too, I don't know if that could be a factor though.

Has anyone in your family got it?

Don't know my dad's side too well, mums side are all **** batshit crazy (although that's not particularly medical, just them being them really)

Dad's side are all Irish so you know there's some crazy in there as well...

  13. How bad are your up and down moods though?

It's hard to tell whether or not it's a problem or it's just good ol' fashioned teenage hormones.

Hard to tell as there's not really a whole lot to compare it to if you know what I mean. One minute I can be on top of the world & feeling pretty good & then one small thing can put me in a funk & keep me awake for several hours thinking about it.

Just part of life I guess, sucks pretty badly at some points though

  14. And I was asking because Witton seems like the kind of person who would do something like that...

    You cheeky young scamp

Peter Sutcliffe was a 10 stone weakling. I assure you if I were to decide to follow in his footsteps I'd be using a mallet or a sledgehammer to do the job, ball-peins are for puffs.

Sutcliffe was a British hypejob & would have been KO'd by the USA ATG known as BTK. BTK is the truth

Sutcliffe was a bit of a mummys boy and puff but he did manage to score a respectable 13, what did BTK score on the massacre-ometer? Sutcliffe also gets bonus points for being a lorry driver and living up to stereotypes by the way.

A lower 10 but his resume is better, especially after something like a billion year retirement before coming back and getting busted. There was a pretty decent documentary on him on Crime and Investigation channel a few months ago

  16. • They're not talking about it publicly, and there's always a chance it won't happen, but Top Rank and HBO PPV are looking at Dec. 4 as the date for a possible Antonio Margarito-Miguel Cotto rematch. Margarito, of course, still needs to be licensed in the United States. And, of course, if Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr. doesn't happen, all bets are off because Margarito and Cotto could become opponents for Pacquiao's November fight.

Interesting to see if Cotto takes the fight...

I'm pretty sure he would take it.

He's said before he doesn't want to fight him again but since then he seems to have been coming around to fighting him again
