I remember one of the Leicester team (or was it Ranieri) saying similar… they just kept going one game at the time, and didn’t count anything for granted, ticked off no relegation at 40 points, then each position who couldn’t catch them… until the end when they were champions.

Even if we made the decision now to go with a new stadium, it would be ready for us to move in around 2029-2030. That’s a long time and by then Villa Park would be even more out of date. I’d be surprised if NSWE aren’t thinking about our position 10 years ahead.

Not really. NSWE could do that on their own with a loan from a bank rather than giving up (selling) equity in the company they own. The only reason to give up equity is that Atarios are bringing something more to the table than a few hundred million in finance.

I think we have a 1% chance of a win, a 10% chance of a draw but most likely a routine win for Arsenal. If we had all full squad available we could have given them a game.

The thing is that they haven’t bought 20% of V-Sports for over £100 million to then spend £20m on this or that. NSWE could have done that with a standard loan and not giving up equity. The aim surely has to be much much bigger, something that will pay back more than sticking £100m in the bank and earning 5% interest.

Because they are assuming that Man City win the CL, Arsenal beat Bayern, and Villa win the Conference. Any one of those doesn't happen and the odds start turning.
