I doubt any manager will be given enough time to turn the club around quick enough to placate the fans in the era of premier league football. FWIW - Martinez would be the manager for me, I just wonder whether he could install a footballing ethos into the current set of players. Should Mcleish go.. then this is IMO the biggest managerial appointment we will make in our premier league history. I would hope a large number of players will leave the club, meaning the new manager will have the opportunity to buy the players that suit his style of football and thus have a chance to start a new era, we then can start adding players in year on year with natural wastage out the other way. It will be our job as fans to bide our time, and let the so could revolution play its course.

Hi General re: The Kit, perhaps looking at this from both a commercial and loyalty perspective you could potentially make one of the kits a 2 year release, preferably the home kit. This would then appease some of the fans, but allow you to then release a new home/away kit next year to drive business income? Surely then any loss of income could be picked up by NIKE. Personally I would play for them and where a Villa T-shirt underneath. I would not be worried to much about playing the villa as I would feign Injury before the game and watch it in the stands with the villa faithful. Bigger Dilemma would be this for me.... Your 10 Year old son gets scouted by the Blues you know that he is good enough that if Blues are interested other clubs might come in for them, but they havent a yet and might never, do you turn them down?
