Even if ecstacy was made legal it would be far too difficult and expensive to control properly. What would be the minimum age? Where would it be sold? How would the number sold to each individual be controlled? Would there be a maxiumum age? Would you need a medical examination first? It is easier to leave it as it is. At least this way the number of takers is kept low.

It is silly to compare stats on 2 drugs which are taken for completely different reasons. We must also compare an even number of takers. The stats show more Aspirin deaths because more people take it. Its like comparing deaths in car accidents to deaths in free-climbing. On the other hand, Ecstacy would be safer if it was made legal and properly controlled. The little pillls can contain all manner of substances and so its is difficult to judge how dangerous an ecstacy pill really is with its contents being a constant.

There are supposed to be more stars in the Universe than individual grains of sand on Earth. I cannot believe that none of those stars have planets in orbit which are capable of supporting life. If we take than into consideration along with the fact that many basic life forms can be found in the most unlikely places on Earth, I would bet my left testicle that there are many other life forms throughout the Universe. If that is true and I can continue having both balls attached then we can easily assume that some of those life forms have deveploed into something intelligent.

Going back to the question of '"intelligent life" beyond Earth, who is to say that in the grand scheme of things humans are intelligent? Other distant life forms may be well aware of us and consider us to be really quite simple creatures, much like we look at ants, for example.

I would like to see us try and sign Samaras from Man City. He's young and I think he's already a great player with tons of potential. Sorry for going off track a little. Keane would be a good signing. I'd like to see him arrive and then ship out Baros in the summer.
