  1. Not really a fan of Carling either although I will drink it from time to time. Regarding the kits I'm not too fussed although I quite like the idea of the round badge on the shirt.
  2. CAN I JUST ADD WHY IS HEINZE NOT 1ST CHOICE. EVRA IS ABSOUTELY SHIT. he is only 1st choice because heinze is just recovered from injury Evra has slighly improved from rubbish to bad.
  3. Perhaps but I think Milner has alot to offer us quality wise as well. He needs improvement like all youngsters do but let's not forget he is only 19, and will improve. By the way, I've seen him a play a couple of times this season and he seems to offer far more than solano has done for them.
  4. I hope he's not another one of these Kromkamps, highly rated, gets to an english club, flops and then is transferred in around 6 months time.
  5. Yep, decent young player, sign him up...................... if his leg has healed properly. would be a SUPERB acquisition To play up front or in midfield. IMO was a good front player when he was at Leeds.
  6. If we get a left winger and a left back, where do you propose to play Barry? Centre midfield of a three with Petrov and McCann?
  7. I don't really like Beckham ,although he does his bit for charity, as a person but I agree would be great to see him in a Villa shirt.
  8. I don't know. Purely because perhaps we did overacheive at place like Chelsea and Arsenal. But perhaps we underacheived playing Fulham, watford and West Ham (because we should have won). If you put it down to results I would say no because we are a good enough team with good enough players to be where we are.
  9. We have to be a lot better than last night which I think we will be. What we can't afford to do is give the ball away cheaply like we did in certain periods of the second half yesterday as they have the player to make us pay. Would love another draw to keep the unbeaten run going.
  10. Would also like to see Wayne Bridge at Villa. Personally, I think we need a striker badly who can stick the ball in the back of the net.
  11. Sorry Patrick, just read this. For me I would rather have an experienced player who has played in europe and won things as a back up defender than a young kid who isn't ready for it yet and needs to be brought through gradually. If Cahill is good enough he'll get his chance as I trust MON to decide that. A back up defender wont get in his way but provide healthy competition I disagree, I think the healthy competition is already there. I think he is ready to play games as well. He can see that if he works hard a first team opportunity will come his way. I don't think a new centre half is neccesary, and certainly not Balde. If Laursen does his knee over again then that would be different, but even still Bobo Balde would be under no circumstances the answer. Agreed Patrick. a new CB is not the answer (don't forget Cahill as well). we need a striker and a wide player in my opinion. an perhaps a decent right and left back as well if MON does not rate Bouma.
  12. Bobo Balde? If it is then what is with the ex-celtic players. Petrov is quality there is no doubt about it, but buying the restn of the Celtic old boys is going to far.
  13. Now there's a player i'd love to see in a Villa shirt. no thanks. Ditto, no way id rather have Larsson I think Davies is the most under-rated striker in the country. Larsson's 35 and way way past his best. We've already got one stop gap striker in Sutton without adding another one. We've got a billionaire on board now, and i assume we'll be looking at more than the likes of a past it 35 year old striker when the window opens. But Larrson has at least played for Barcalona. Personally I would rather see a fresh younger face up front rather than players who are past their best.
