Bowery hasn't started in the PL, it was the FA cup game that he got a standing ovation wasn't it?
Apologies I should have said start it was FA Cup but I do say that underneath Ipsiwch - my bad.
He looked like a young Collymore - & considering CFC fans said he was gash I for one was suprised.

And if we're basing fans reactions to players as an indication of how well the coaching staff are doing why don't we talk about the reactions to bennet after Bradford? Guess that kind of ruins that argument.
Bennett was MOTM for Ipswich game though & got the assist for AW's head with a great cross......but that's OK only remember the bad ones eh?
He was humble enough to apologise on his tweet to everyone & this is lad who didn't think his cross for AWs goal was good.

Maybe Lambert is looking for the next Martin Laursen and Olof Mellburg or an Ian Taylor
Not the kind of players who get a phone call from an agent & to say X club are interested in signing you & the first thing out
of their mouth is - "how much they offering?"

dream & they're happy. Chris Hughton knows that he's praised Lambert on many occasions.
So I think he's helped settle the dispute between the two clubs & the wound has healed a little.
Look at Bradford, how good were those lads giving 110% for their team & they've beaten Arsenal & Villa etc
They played really really well. Cos they had a team spirit!
Maybe we haven't - but it's not saying we won't from now on & we'll get better!

Its not just his agent talking though is it? There are reports of an actual bid. His agent mentioned a bid but said there's nothing concrete in Inter letting him go as i read it.
I cant guarantee if any of this is completely accurate but I wouldnt be suprised.
Nobody could argue that this squad is anything like complete so obviously we need to get some players in and good players at that.
That wont be lost on anybody including Lerner.
Look at the fuss that was made over Benteke. Now imagine a Brazilian flair player? Its not only good for the team, it's good for business.
And again, we're not talking about Neymar, we're talking about a player just starting to make a name for himself and not even an Inter regular at all.

Reading are to sign Aston Villa's Darren Bent on loan. Bent wants out after a training ground row with boss Paul Lambert. #readingfc
First time he blabbed to papers about Clauses - the crac is Lambert sent him to train with kids.
Second time he's blabbed to papers about Relegation clauses - I wouldnt' be surprised if he's barred him from BMH
So it Darren Bent is trying to get himself a loan deal to Reading our rivals & we have to sub his wages I think that tells us all we
needed to know.
Surely Villa can choose where a player goes & say NO?
Anyhow if that's what he could do to a club that's bin paying him £3M a year plus bonuses maybe that's why he's had a row with Lambert
Ian Abrahams is also saying Bent loan to reading.

We are the 5th highest spending club in the PL. We've had 3 managers and we're gash One of the managers had a heart attack.
Something was wrong with that football club perhaps now it's been sorted.

If he is Villa Source or his agents then I don't think he will ever play in an Aston Villa shirt again.

No pay off of £3M+bonuses X 3 until 2015 quoted in paper is at least £9Million
If Darren Bent is Villa Source then I'm dam sure Randy Lerner & Paul Lambert would want him anywhere near the club.
Loan deal anywhere makes alot of sense if he is Villa Source surely?
I also would not want anyone who is unhappy in the dressing room in a relegation battle - we need a united team with a fighting spirit
particularly before I bring in more signings
Perhaps this is why Dale Stephens has been at Charlton's Training ground and not BMH?

I was accused of a conspiracy theory that Bent was playing up because he wanted Villa to sell him & then get £9M pay off.
If he's loaned out because he's bin causing bother as is the rumours - then it makes perfect sense to me
Why has PLambert NOT played him in Prem Legue game.

If he's loaned out then he won't make appearances in PL & any kick in clause can't be activated. AVFC do not have to
pay him £9M if he is indeed Villa Source.
Is that not logical..

Why on earth would we sell Bent to a team like Reading? I don't understand that.
Because if you loan a player you might not have to pay them £9M in pay off?!!
Perhaps that's reason.

Rumours today I see of Darren Bent from Villa to Reading - not sure scoring is Reading's main problem
I'm told today from the Midlands, A Villa will not be spending a significant amount of money or bring in many players this transfer window
