https://www.livefootballtickets.com/fixtures/championship-play-off-final-tickets-football-league-championship-play-off.html This site has seat only tickets at club Wembley level for around 200 quid, never used them but it has a good trustpilot score.

36k according to the official site.
  5. Flying into Luton Sunday night and staying near the airport, try and get into Wembley nice and early (unlike last year's rush) Staying in Croydon on Monday night to catch a Tuesday morning flight home from Gatwick. What pre match pubs are people going to?

I just saw on twitter (AVFC Support) that the playoff game doesn't count towards the 3 or 5 game criteria unfortunately. It only counts a a booking history game for the last criteria of sales.
  9. I also think it's an innocent chant although in this day and age I'm not surprised it's caused a stir. I personally think it's just race sensitivity gone a bit overboard.
  10. Agreed with everything except "limited and slow" I think he's quite capable as a DM and not so slow as people say. Personally I think it's lazy opinions by people who don't really understand the role he plays. although I do think that under pressure he does tend to rush passes which can leave us exposed.
  11. Interesting, who'd be left wing? Mcginn?
  12. He definitely hadnt his best game in fairness, although I thought the passing in general wasn't great for much of the game. Hard to know at the Hawthorns, I'd be still leaning towards playing Hourihane from the start, try and put more pressure on them.
  13. Apart from the absolute howler in the first half I thought Whelan was good, but Hourihane was definitely more suited to that type of game.
  14. West brom certainly didn't come to play football anyway, look very well drilled. Need a spark.
  15. People think I'm accepting defeat by saying this but totally disagree. Im happy and think just being in the playoffs is a bonus all things considered, when you look back to february say.. Considering how poor we were for the majority of the season. Funk it we're in good hands now. if we do lose we'll go again next year with Dean and the boys but We have as good of a chance as any team in it. No fear, pressure is for tyres.
  16. Yeah agree, as much as he has his strengths, he has very weak points. I'm sure Dean and Co will be attempting to exploit this.
  17. Going 3 goals down seems to be the key to success in knockout competitions these days, hopefully we do that. Disclaimer, don't do that villa please.
  18. Excellent game today from the big man, a warrior defensively after a few early shaky moments and kept the passing simple but generally accurate. He's slotted in very admirably when needed lately, very impressive considing his lack of football, well done Mile.
  19. Spence definitely has a distinct size and reach advantage which gives him an upper hand but I honestly think Crawfords superior technical ability and boxing iq would see him win. I wouldn't be putting my life saving on it though!
  20. I have it the other way personally, I think Crawford beats Spence but we won't know until they actually fight I suppose. Definitely both top 5 lb for lb fighters. I really hope they make that fight next year, although knowing boxing they probably won't.
  21. "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth." In fairness to Khan it was a total mismatch, it was a ridiculous fight to stage. I actually thought Khan did well to survive the first round he tried to make a contest of it with a few decent combos but he's simply not in the same league as Crawford. While it made for a poor spectacle with the low blow ending the fight I actually thought it was the humane call from Virgil Hunter, Khan couldn't win that fight and was taking a lot of heavy shots.
  22. I have a healthy respect for West broms team, Dwight gayle and Jay Rodrigues are prem strikers and really that squad should be in the top two. On the other hand I think I think we are well capable of beating them, as a cohesive unit I think we are the best oiled machine in the league (at the moment).

    Dean Smith

These last few months have felt like a glorious dream I don't ever want to wake up from.
