He's got all the attributes to be a top class centre half but he simply doesn't have the defensive instinct. Makes the wrong decision too much and you get found out at this level. He'll be a colossus in the championship.

Good team performance almost let down by Konsa I think who played a square ball under no pressure and nearly gave another typical cheap own goal. We need much better performances to rescue the season.

I think he can play football but he's obscenely off the pace, he was a vital cog in a Leicester title winning team 4 or 5 years ago which is why they bought him. That drinkwater seems to have gone. On evidence of watching him this season for us he either isn't bothered or or hasn't got the legs any more.

Same boat as you, I sent an email to the ticket office today but got no response. Will call them tomorrow. I've gotten refunds in the past before games.

When and where is the holiday?

Travelling from Dublin to Birmingham on Friday through to Sunday for the Chelsea game with the old man, while I'm not normally a worrier I'm a bit concerned about his wellbeing seeing as hes in his 70s bit worried about him picking something up. Should we give this one a miss?

Fair point but how would you rate his passing and general ball skills at the moment?

He's definitely worth keeping as a squad player based on his defensive displays and hopefully he'll improve on the ball skills in the future which would be great but at the moment his passing is very wasteful and makes a lot of unforced errors.

A good defender but not comfortable enough on the ball, in my opinion he's a more energetic Neil Taylor. I would hope to sign an improvement in the summer.

Grealish and mings didn't pick up injuries, that's the only positive I can take from that game.

That kind of performance just drains the hope, some of the passing today was horrendous. I'd take guilbert and Trez out for Elmo and anybody at the moment.

What is the letter of the law out of interest? I would have thought a keeper could have thrown a punch at an incoming ball.

Quite similar to the last game against them, conceded two poor goals first half and couldn't break down their resolute defending while they protected their lead. They did defend very well second half to be fair to them.

Yeah, really like the look of him. Seems like an intelligent footballer with technical ability to match along with a decent work rate. Very encouraging signs so far.

Probably been mentioned but I thought Vasilev didn't look out of place, didn't set the world alight but was very useful.

The lack of fight is a worry in fairness but I think Bournemouth and Norwich will go down and I think we'll sneak up, hopefully Brighton or Burnley will fall apart

Fair play on making that trip! I wouldn't think today was a season defining game tho. City and Liverpool are lightyears ahead of the rest of the league.

Championship playoff winners get beaten comfortably by the reigning Premier league champions. Hold the front page.

Yeah to be fair we were playing the Harlem Globetrotters of the Premier who I think will put a few more scorlines like that up this season. They've got noting to lose so are playing with a freedom. But our defending was very weak.
