The Athletic article says that he wasn’t happy with his role as 4th in the pecking order as Terry’s replacement will be above him. Stayed to help prepare for the season but now training is more structured and set he is leaving. He could have stayed, there was no fall out with Smith or the club he just wasn’t happy with his reduced role. According to the Athletic he won’t be replaced and are only looking to replace Terry’s role.

Got mine today, haven’t received the two junior membership packs I ordered at the same time.Hopefully they will arrive over the next few days although of of the memberships is still awaiting activation despite jumping through all the hoops several times.

The training top I ordered at the end of June which was supposed to be sent or delivered today has already been delayed. Received an email saying due to global factory shutdowns and transportation challenges due to the global pandemic the item won’t be available until 21-07-2021, every season there seems to be issues with stock. As a goodwill gesture it would be nice if the club sent the other items I ordered at the same time which are in stock

I was in and out at Villa park within 25 mins, that includes a 15 minute wait after the jab and having to give my details twice due to the first person not saving them correctly. Really well organised and laid out and enough bays to do 30 injections at a time. Lots of good cleaning practices in place as well.

Got my letter today to book my appointment, logged in and was offered slots for tomorrow at various larger centres but have decided that I missing the place that much I’m having the jab at Villa Park on Friday
