    I'm feeling pretty optimistic too. If we go into this match with the right attitude I see no reason why we can't give Arsenal a game and maybe even get a decent result. I'd absolutely love us to have a good cup run. Watch us get thrashed now I've said that.

    They truly are the gift that keeps on giving. We may think that things get bad for us but then they manage to do something much, much worse.

    It's not so much the whole Blues thing that makes me anti-McLeish, it's more the shite football that his teams play and the fact that I just can't imagine him being able to convince any of our present half-decent players to stay or to attract any decent new ones to join us. I'm still holding onto the hope that this won't happen but I've got a nasty feeling that it will.

    This is a difficult one. I've gone for Spurs even though I've hated them for as long as I can remember and that was before Redknapp went there. I probably hate Liverpool even more though and watching them implode is quite entertaining. And as for Man City........ well, I've got respect for their fans for the way they turned out during their plummet down the divisions and I had a mate who was a City fan and was probably the funniest bloke I've ever met. But....... for all that there's the danger that if they actually get into the top 4 that next time Kaka, Eto'o or whoever will actually sign for them.
