    I can't see it happening (thankfully). - Unless he takes a wage drop of around £200k (if he is supposedly on £300k) which I don't think he would - and a transfer fee of £40m then it's a bit of a non runner. Even if he was to see out his contract and return to us on a free, he would be 32 by then anyway and not much use. I think unless someone like Newcastle are willing to take a punt on him, I think he will either take the Saudi money or probably just retire.

    @leighavfc - What are you waiting for? You only live once, Be happy. Your ex is the one who's dictated everything by the sounds of things and she's the one who's ended it. So, if she's sick to the stomach when she see's/discovers you've got a new woman.. so what? Tough! She announced it was over and she's cut the ties and taken you off the tenancy agreement too. Brutal! So if it turns out that she is eventuslly gutted then it might teach her a lesson to not have played the stupid game she played in the first place. You sound more bothered than she does from what I'm reading. Your ex made her descision so respect it. Otherwise, taking her back will only show her she can dictate to you again like she has when she's not happy about something else further down the line. She's made her bed, let her lay in it. Away and fill your boots mate and create new happiness with the new found love if you intend to stick at it. Everything happens for a reason. But whatever you do, don't use her to then return to your ex 3 weeks later. Just my opinion though.

    It's one of the reasons when watching Match of the Day, I watch it on iplayer and 15 minutes after it's started! That way (after each game) you can just zip past bullshit like this and straight onto the next game.
