Why dont we create anything? We sell our best players and bring in a relegation manager.

Hi, The beer in the holte suite was disgusting yesterday, both the fosters and heiniken tasted like bleach. I have had a dodgy stomach since. I would like some official comment and a refund. Great win but we still need more players. Blackburn are poor. Lets back AM and really send out a statement of intent this season.

General, A good point and a cleansheet away from home. I believe the first in 25. What bothers me though is without a decent supply line we will struggle. I know we are pinning all hopes on Darren Bent but he was a passenger today. Gabby is not a winger and I dont think he completed a cross or looked like assisting. If we dont invest before the window closes we are in big trouble. Adam Johnson would be excellent. Two many goalless draws is why Birmingham went down. You need to give Alex the backing and players if he is to succed. Otherwise the trouble will be twice it was last season. Thanks

This season has been a shambolic embarrassment for all concerned at avfc. Late kit. Selling Milner. Getting Ireland. Mon walking. Losing to wolves, blues and albion. Poor attendances. God awful football. Best to worse defence. Dunne, Collins incident. Carew, warnock and beye alienation. GH numerous gaffs (there have been alot). Relegation battle. I for one cannot wait for this season to end. Next season cannot be worse else we are gone. I hope GH is replaced as manager as soon as the season is finished. Ill health aside he is not the right man for villa. Three good points. Bent signing and Clark and Albrighton.

Hi General. I have been going to Villa Park since 1989 when my dad took me aged 7 to see Villa vs. Wimbledon. I have possessed a season ticket since 1995. I know a few things for sure. A lot of Villa fans are moaning idiots (not the majority). I think it is in our nature as Brummies’ and Yam Yam's. My dad gets so wound up with them at games. However we have had so much to moan about over the years we are used to it. The real supporters are the ones who support the team no matter what. I just wish all inside Villa Park had that attitude all the time, I know it would help the team. Martin O’Neil was given funds and he wasted them. He then dropped us in the mire when he quit on the eve of the 2010/2011 campaign. Gerard, Gordon and Gary (The 3 G's) are clearing up that mire, infusing a new philosophy but encountering appalling bad luck in the process. No preseason, a squad not big enough to cope with the injuries and dare I say not even good enough given the money invested. The manager has not had signings of his own. We have some quality players but we should have better with all the money Martin wasted. However he did make a tidy profit on Milner. Ashley also could bring a fair amount of profit which brings me onto my next point. You need to get Ashley Young to sign a deal. He works hard in every game. Winds the opponents up and never gives up. Villa Park over the last 4 years has become a beautiful world class venue, recapturing some of the elegance lost when the 1920 Trinity was destroyed. The Holte pub, Holte suite and Trinity road suites are stunning. I can just imagine in 10 years’ time from now how even more beautiful the stadium will become. It is a shame we will not be a world cup venue in 2018. The young players are looking very good with Albrighton and Clarke the pick of the bunch. Bannan when played in the middle looks unstoppable. I am also happy the better Gardner has signed up for the next 3 ½ years. I believe you have chosen the correct manger to take us forward. He is someone who has been there and done it in the premier league. He needs time but performances have been good. I think he comes across well and seems an incredibly nice man. I trust Randy and the board and I am thankful for the last four years. Its probably wrong of me to say but Paul Falkner seems a little odd to me though! Overall the Martin O’Neil era was fantastic, there were mistakes but I felt he had taken us as far as possible and everyone knew it but we had some great times. AVFC were back on the map. I feel now we will progress with this regime. A few wins and we will be back up there. A few years and we will have some silver ware. It’s easy to be a villa fan when things are good but when things are bad life seems a little unforgiving! It’s only a game but I love Villa. I haven’t stopped thinking about the poor recent results so I had to write this letter to get some perspective back. Up The Villa General

Hi General, My Dad and I have been season ticket holders since 1995. We walked past the Holte pub yesterday before the game and we looked on in envy at the happy warm people enjoying a pint. How does the system work with invites as we are yet to receive one? It would make my Dad extremely happy to once again have a pint in the Holte before a game, something I have never experienced. Are we just being very unlucky so far by not getting an invite? We stopped in during the summer, it is beautiful. The board are doing a great a job and it filters down from the top to pitch. Hi General. This is not a question about transfers. I don’t expect a response I just hope you read it and tell MON we are 100% behind him over BarryGate. I just want to say please stick you your guns over Gareth Barry. I know you have said before we are not a feeder club. The price is the price and I hope we don’t have a last minute price reduction just to get him off the books. If we do the others will come after our best player Ashley Young! He is the one we need to keep here the most. Liverpool have lost their credibility over this, we have retained ours as I would expected with MON and Randy at the Helm. Great work as Villa Park looks even classier. I had a pint in the Holte for the first time, it is looks amazing and the food and beer was great. I was nice to sit out back and look at the mosaic on the holte. Keep it up! Up the Villa!
