  1. I can’t find the words to do that justice. We didn’t just beat them, we battered them and anybody who didn’t watch the game will find those stats hard to believe. Couldn’t possibly choose a MOTM. Selfishly, the person I’m most pleased for is my daughter. She’s had to put up with all the City-supporting little shits at school taking the piss out of her for supporting Villa and even asking who we are. I hope she enjoys herself tomorrow.
  2. I was guilty of slating Tielemans in his first few appearances but he either wasn’t fit or has worked his nuts off since because he’s **** brilliant.
  3. The ref is actively disregarding the rules to keep Semenyo on the pitch. Two of the worst decisions we’ve been on the wrong side of this season.
  4. Ah so this ref does know that it’s a booking if a player is pulled back after all. Hmm.
  5. This is a big call but so far I think this ref might be the worst we’ve had all season.
  6. The ref has absolutely bottled the decision to give Semenyo the second yellow. That’s the sort of appalling error that should be getting refs stood down.
  7. The biggest problem with the sin bin idea is that it’s another thing that incompetent refs can **** up that will potentially have a very significant effect on the outcome of a game.
  8. Take a drink every time the commentators mention Tottenham’s injuries, you’ll be smashed.
  9. Ramsey or Moreno for Cash, please. Move McGinn to the right.
  10. Lovely goal. Beautifully done all round.
  11. VAR works quickly and perfectly and they still manage to **** it up by not giving us our corner!
  12. Yep he’s been excellent today. About the only positive.
  13. 10 corners and not even a half chance to show for it. Revising my earlier opinion of Forest being good. They’ve offered absolutely nothing. They’ve been there for the taking but we’ve completely failed to take advantage of it. I can certainly see how they’ve surrendered so many leads if this is how they’ve been setting up.
  14. Just horrendous shooting/finishing from us today. Such an unbelievably frustrating watch.
  15. I just knew that with the chance to go third today we’d balls it up. Although credit to Forest, they’ve been well up for it.
  16. Yep, absolutely agree with this (with the fairly big caveat of only speaking from experience of my own school, of course). Over the last few years - even pre-Covid IMO - there’s been a steady deterioration. Its also the case with parents - way more difficult, entitled, angry bell ends, moaning about anything and everything.
  17. England trying their best to try to remove any semblance of enjoyment for the spectators. Just utterly, utterly dire, turgid stuff.
  18. Clearly moved the free kick back to give himself more room to get it up and over the wall. So, so easy for the ref to spot. Total bullshit that that wasn’t called. Unacceptable.
  19. Of course but that’s kind of my point - the ref shouldn’t be making such huge decisions based on his general feeling about which way the wind’s blowing. That said, I’ve only seen one quick replay so reserve the right to be wrong.
  20. That’s exactly right. A much, much better performance than I thought possible but so many really poor kicks in the second half. We were almost in a hurry to kick it away and showed no desire to even consider scoring a try. But as I said before, the winning penalty could just as easily have been given to us. Crazy that that has decided such a massive game.
  21. To decide a World Cup semi final on such an arbitrary decision is just… mental.
  22. From the tee, certainly. Extremely brave of us to turn this into a scrap against the most physical team in the world. Extremely impressive to be winning that scrap. Lawes has been immense.
  23. Agree. He’s been poor IMO. A couple of really bad decisions.
  24. Much better start than expected but Farrell needs to calm the **** down. Now. But he is right, to be fair.
  25. Wow. It’s like watching a different sport to what England and Wales have been serving up.
