    I noticed that. Guy is an utter word removed. Don’t normally buy into the media-is-against-us idea but he has definitely had a few pointed digs tonight.

    Worst I’ve seen us this season. Pretty alarming lack of movement and intensity. Would be nice if our midfielders could pass to a Villa player. As awesome as these players have been this season, I don’t know if they’ve got the required comeback in them. Heads have dropped.

    There haven’t been many “typical Villa” moments over the past 12 months but it seems we’ve managed to squeeze that year’s worth into the last three games.

    Picked up the Portal Companion Collection to play over Christmas. Portal was very good but there were times when I was playing Portal 2 that I thought it was a work of genius and one of the best games I’ve ever played. It possibly went on a bit long and Stephen Merchant’s voice acting got a bit repetitive and annoying after a while but overall, it was magnificent. It showed how single room puzzles can be made memorable and entertaining as opposed to the monotony of the shrines in Tears of the Kingdom.

    Utterly disgusting. Everything we’ve achieved up to this point does not excuse this disgrace. Losing the home record and the chance to go top against the bottom team with Archer scoring , 2-0 up against Utd who’ve not scored in 4 years and that kid not got a goal in the league. Old Villa still alive and kicking.

    Hello darkness my old friend. We’ve been utterly awful since our second goal. Flat-footed, lack of movement, poor passing and ball-retention, no urgency. Luiz and Ramsey been particularly bad.

    One of the clearest handballs you’ll ever see. Not just where on the arm it hit him but the fact he moved his arm towards the ball. Staggering, barely comprehensible decision, particularly in light of some of the ridiculous handballs we’ve seen given this season.

    Fair play to them. Have no hard feelings towards them and don’t think they were words removed at all. Perfectly entitled to set up how they did and hope we would’ve done the same if roles were reversed. Not their fault how the match was officiated.

    Results like this happen to top sides. Doesn’t mean it’s easy to take and it’s not going to stir emotions. There were certainly some hyperbolic posts in the match thread but cut people some slack - I think it’s fair to say we’re all emotionally invested (for better or worse). It was incredibly frustrating and there was a lot (relatively) at stake so people are going to be gutted - you don’t win anything other than likes for pointing it out. Posting laughing emojis after we go 1-0 down is a real word removed move, though.
