Weird game. We’ve been dicked and not really been as competitive as I would’ve liked but we’ve had a fair few really decent individual performances. 

Great game so far. Grealish playing a bit more like his Villa self tonight (unfortunately) but I’m loving seeing him get absolutely no joy every time he comes up against Konsa. 

We’re actually showing a bit of promise going forward. Zaniolo and Diaby looking lively. 

Digne has changed the game. 

I hate the way West Ham play. They’re crap and it’s no surprise that they take so many heavy beatings. I hate even more that we’re playing exactly how they’d want us to.

Not going to lie, it’s pretty satisfying to be the ones denying the Grand Slam for once, rather the other way round . Lost count of how many times Ireland have done it to us.

I think it kind of sums England up that they’ve somehow managed to go in behind after their best performance in ages.

Just put a deposit down on a Q4, too. I’m not massively into cars or bothered about brands, but wanted to go electric and get something with plenty of room for the kids.

It was either this or a Škoda Enyaq but there weren’t any of those locally in the spec we wanted to look at.

Dealer tried to sell me GardX exterior and interior treatments for £350. Has anyone ever had this? Is it worth it if so? I don’t usually fall for added extras but this did actually sound pretty good. Reviews online seemed mixed, though, so leaning towards it being bullshit.

Our response to the goal has been really encouraging and it’s the best we’ve played for while (apart from Sheff U, obviously) but we’ve been sloppy around their box. I just can’t see us scoring, sadly.  

Passing through the lines much better from both our CBs today. Still not Pau level, obviously.

The only positive from this utter shitshow is that we’ve responded to every loss this season with a win.

I noticed that. Guy is an utter word removed. Don’t normally buy into the media-is-against-us idea but he has definitely had a few pointed digs tonight. 

Worst I’ve seen us this season. Pretty alarming lack of movement and intensity. Would be nice if our midfielders could pass to a Villa player. 

As awesome as these players have been this season, I don’t know if they’ve got the required comeback in them. Heads have dropped.
