The most startling thing about this is the amount we’ve lost from 2 goals up but then absolutely no wins from 2 goals down. The most recent instance I can think of us winning from two goals down was Southampton away in 2005. Can anyone recall this happening more recently?

Said this one before somewhere but I own a SHA shirt. I got (forceably) dressed as Robbie Savage on my stag do in Munich. I tried to dispose of it by throwing it down a train carriage but as I went to step off it suddenly landed in front of my feet. I decided, meh fair enough, I'll have it as a keepsake and it now lives buried in the depths of a drawer somewhere.

Let's say ManUre over perform and get 2 points a game, they'll finish on 66 points. We need a point a game from our remaining fixtures to finish on that with a superior GD of 17. For them to catch us we'd have to have an absolutely catastrophic end to the seson.

Right decision I think and I'd rather go for it against Brentford and Lille than Arsenal. I guess it does raise the pressure to win a bit in the games we save the players for though.

Nah I think although it would have been better, Benioff and Weiss were massively exposed without source material to refer to. After season 5, gone was the interesting character arcs and political intrigue and maneuvering and in was cliche OTT Hollywood action sequences. Last minute saves from dragons in battles where the 'heroes' (no longer the grey area it was earlier on) are faced withu insurmountable odds etc.
