I am not sure where you have got the impression that people would sell him or make him a scape goat. There is only one poster I know of on this site who would happily see him replaced. I dont usually post on this site as you can see, but I have seen on other forums people suggest we sell him. I find it gobsmacking people suggest that!! If we could swap Petrov for Barton though and a few bob going north I would do it. Cant see MON getting rid of one of his own signings so quickly though. The futures bright though and this summer we should see a few quality players coming in,

I really dont get people who would sell Barry. He seems a scapegoat for a lot of fans, yet he is the most consistent player in the league.Just because he doesnt have shed loads of pace and skill people cant seem to see his qualities, and I think those fans dont really know much about football. You need ball winners, good passers, physical players in any team. This is controversial, but I would love to see Joey Barton. I know he's a clearing in the woods of the highest order, however, I thought saturday for the first 25 mins he ran the game until we scored, and at VP earlier in the season was MOTM and totally ran the show. He's a good player in a bad team at man citeh, and I think we could do with a direct player down the middle at VP. He wont be at citeh come august.

i hope he stays. It makes you wonder why we bought dj-dj though. mccann, hendrie, berson, hitz, davis. With solano and barry also capable of moving, it make syou wonder. IMO, dj-dj is the worst out of the lot of them, i hope davis gets a game though, he looks quality. DOL bought the wrong sort of player if you ask me.

we have got a nice stadium, but why rebuild the north stand? Noone sits there, except the away fans, we struggle to fill 43,000 seats anyways, so why does it need to be bigger? i notice your username has 1982. Im not expecting us to win the champions league the year after doug retires, but you'll never see us getting anywhere near that with him in charge.
