  1. Filbert in peace. Please use some lube gents, it’s going to be bad enough as it is…
  2. I thought we looked a bit ragged at the end and you smelt blood. However if Smith just goes gung-ho early second half, you know that Steptoe will probably punish you. As I said, had you got the equaliser, we couldn’t complain, we did that foot off the gas thing that invites pressure, but I’m an electrician, what do I know. Would swap jack for Maddison in a heartbeat.
  3. Filbert in peace. Jack starts the game and I think you win the game. We were dreadful 2nd half and I think if you had equalised, I wouldn’t be complaining. The moral boost for Leicester players and fans when we realised he wasn’t playing was palpable.I was dancing round the lounge. That’s how good he is. Modern day GAZZA without the ale. Unplayable.
  4. Gents, a filbert in peace and as always I feel your ever worsening torment. I know there is a lot of anti Nigel talk but it seems our clubs are inextricably linked regarding former managers. He knows the championship well, you will need someone of his mould if you get relegated. It will be worth it for the post-match press conferences alone. Tonight just imagine him pinning down your least favourite player on the training ground and throttling them. Joking aside, I think he's probably learnt from mistakes he made with us and would be worth a gamble. All the best gents, remember, it's always darkest before the dawn.
  5. Fair point. Agreed. There are plenty of games left and remember, It's always darkest before the dawn....
  6. It's a weekend of such enormity for both of our teams that for once words fail me. There is simply no telling what the outcomes might be, seriously absolutely anything could happen and probably will. All I can say is this, put some strong lager in the fridge, check your blood pressure, fasten your seat belts and told on tight, it's going to be a bumpy ride...
  7. Gents, filbert in peace. I feel your pain. I'm sure most think your problems run deeper but I think the defining moment so far this season were those 2 bonkers substitutions by Timothy when you were 2.0 up and honestly cruising against us. I believe you would have gone on to win the game easily, giving you a massive confidence boost, whilst seriously damaging ours. The table might look a lot different now had that happened. Timothy might still be in charge though....I appreciate you're all probably considering a Dignitas Clinic right now if you lose this weekend but would appreciate your thoughts if you can think of anything else other than this Saturday...I agree it's do or die.
  8. Gents. filbert in peace. Painful to watch. We are toast. I think now 'shitbert' is gone, you will stay up, you looked a million times better, albeit against awful opponents, I thought we were comfortable first half, Sherwoods half time rollicking worked. Pearson is frankly bonkers. Shame it wasn't 2-1 at half time, would have been an even better second half. Great finish from Bacuna, the 'Veteran' in goal gifted you the second. Great header but too little too late. Now we can concentrate on getting relegated, I'm going to drink heavily now. Good evening.
  9. Guys. Absolutely anything could happen tonight, ok, you could be in for a mauling, but you might just go and beat them. As long as you dont concede in the first five mins... You never know. At times like these I always look to the thread where that young lad called him 'Shitbert'. Puerile, but genius.
  10. It's not just the threat from Van Rooney etc, your back four are as dangerous.... Only joking. Dig in chaps, you never know, remember even Leicester won up there once under MON. God it's hard work supporting Middle Earth Clubs, makes it sweeter when you win though. Have a cheeky tenner on 0.1 Villa, I am going to, and no I haven't been drinking.....
  11. It's nice to see that from such a puerile starting thread, (Calling him 'Shitbert', you have to smile at the childishness of it all, I'm forty and am still laughing), you get posts that wouldn't look out of place in a broadsheet newspaper. Go to the top of the class Raver, great observations, well written and all bang on with my feelings about the game.
