  1. Between the squad, injuries, suspensions and Alisha... I don't see it.
  2. Good point, forgot they were playing tonight too!
  3. Just hope.our lads aren't tired for West Ham.
  4. Strong team. Wonder how Moussa and Leon will lineup?
  5. For me, alcohol is a million times worse than gambling for a multitude of reasons. As @MNVillan and @maqroll I'm speaking from personal experience too. Anyway on topic, is anyone else hoping that the delay with the badge, means the club have gone back to the drawing board? Or are simply working with Adidas to create a streamlined launch ( As well as much improved badge )
  6. I made this argument a while ago and got booeed out the thread
  7. Guessing this is why one of the first things Unai did when he came in was Go for a fullback. Guess his systems rely on them heavily. So I reckon if we raise the quality of the full/wingbacks we automatically raise our performances.
  8. Respectfully disagree back! I think if it's done correctly, it's a formation I like. That should be able to form a 3 - 5 - 2 effectively if everyone is in sync and working hard. Which should be more than enough for solidifying midfield. So either we implemented wrong or our players just weren't on it correctly imo.
  9. Yeah that does really pretty filthy in fairness .... BDSM levels
  10. Or just a " Flat 3 " with Doug being the deepest when required? Timo as the box to box cum disruptor and Youri with the license to support attack when required.
  11. I want Timo to get the minutes but not sure why people shudder at the though of Chambers filling in. At the end of the day he's a senior player with experience. Insert " He played DM for Fulham " here too
  12. Saw this as well, aside from this there are a couple of " fans " who pipe up with it every time we lose or have a bad patch. One bloke said " Yes... The pattern does seem to be emerging now ". I had to tell him that the " pattern " is that we were 16th when he came.in, 7th last year and are now competing for top 4. I really hope we don't become Arsenal TV types with more success
  13. The inevitable " we saw from his time at Arsenal " Bollox has started doing the rounds.
  14. If your Callum Chambers... The glass is now half full ...
  15. I'm confused as I thought he was working hard. Maybe that one moment pinpointed... But aside from that I saw him trying hard. I'm wondering if a part of the reaction is in the overall way the day went?
  16. You know he will be sick with himself about this.
  17. If I'm honest... Seeing the run in like that has only put more doubt in my mind. That's a pretty brutal run in for us given the circumstances The likes of Wolves, West Ham, Bournemouth, Brighton and recently Palace aren't walkovers either. O'Neill has had Wolves in particular quietly picking up points and climbing the table.
  18. Better decision making from Leon and Ollie a couple times and we could be having a different conversation now, about a " Hard fought win " or draw. I'm not sure I'm buying that Unai got it totally wrong today because it was an even fist half. Konsa doesn't pass directly to opposition and McGinn doesn't lose his head too we more than have a chance.
  19. Just realised Spurs have Newcastle, Arsenal, City and Liverpool in the run in still to play.
  20. I must have understood him wrong lol. I actually thought he meant " finished " as in his mentality and temperament had gone after we gave away the 2nd goal. Could be totally wrong. If he means " finished " as in finished here it's obviously madness though.
  21. Put in a good shift to be fair.
  22. In fairness, Unai never consistently passed the ball back to opposition to create goals I actually thought it was very even first half and all in the balance. 1 goal down, ok, then Konsa passes it to them for the second. Meatball loses his head and gets sent off leaving us down to 10. For that, i don't think i can blame Unai.
  23. My biggest concern is the confidence we will have given Spurs with an " Emphatic statement win " and McGinn being out at the most crucial time ffs.
  24. Welp... It's time to become Claude Makalele for at least 3 games mate.
