  1. I've had the job done and its driving well now. One thing I've noticed is the steering seems to have stiffened up. Any idea what could have caused this when changed clutch/flywheel? Possible air bubbles in the power steering fluid. The garage said there is nothing they can do because they can't see a problem. The pickup on my car seems a lot slower since I had the job done to. It's almost like they've given me a different car back I wouldn't accept that. If the car is handling differently as a result of work they have carried out they have a responsibility to find the cause. Things to check they have checked would be the following for a start, air leak intake system injectors need replacing or cleaning O2 sensors need cleaning or replacing Catalytic converter (if you have one) check for any collapse Don't ask if they've checked these, ask them what they've checked. Big difference in the two things. But they said they didn't touch the steering and I guess they will probably say they same regarding pickup. I had clutch and fly wheel replaced. Should all those checks have been done after this job? They said to look in to steering further it would cost me. I feel a bit helpless.
  2. Do you think we are paying less wages than certain Championship clubs?

  4. I've had a shocking World Cup due to lack of discipline and Brazil didn't help my cause today. Columbia to win did though. Tough WC IMO.
  5. It's probably because we know how shit the squad is and realise beggers can't be choosers. I'm not defending Lambert but I honestly thing Fergie would have struggled with this shit. The main shining light is Bentake and who bought him? That one signing makes him ok for me because without it we would be down.
  6. Toss up between Lambert and McNeill for the worst I can remember. And clearly what you can remember is our entire history? No, clearly what I can remember is what I can remember. Which incidentally, is a lot longer than you. Ah so now the better fan jibes are out. Awesome. I would have taken that as him saying he is older than you. To keep it on topic id say Lamberts time at Villa has probably been the worst as my time as a fan but I don't think he is entirely to blame.
  7. When you have to start thinking how things could always be worse it's normally because you accept it's unlikely to get better.
  8. Have we actually been in competition with anyone? It's all just rumours I mean in general. Do we have a chance of signing players rival teams are interested in?
  9. Does anything think we can beat another premier league team to a signing at the moment? Maybe Burnley?
  10. I've done the same but thrown Costa Rica in as well as it bumped it to 11's. I was tempted but I've been burnt by Greece to many times. I.e. Euro 2004
  11. We're going to hear this a lot this summer. Temping a player to join us over most other premier league teams is going to be very difficult IMO. Our best bet is players no other teams in this country are interested in, i.e. Cole and Senderos.
  12. £40 on all favourites to qualify. Ignored Greece game. 6/1. Who's gonna let me down?
  13. I personally think if a person can cheat once they can cheat again.
  14. I do however sometimes a manager can only take so much. Lets not forget Little and Gregory also walked out on Villa, regardless of pay. True buts the way the original poster said there is only so much one man can take. As if it was the worst job in the world.
  15. Here's the latest. His pocket money has been cut to nothing as she wants another baby. He has no spending money. She went and got her nails done last week though and went for a spray tan because she's going on holiday next week with her mates. He's staying home to look after the kid. They had a work night out on Friday. The company paid for the meal and drinks during the meal. But he couldn't afford to bring any money with him so was scared to order a beer during the meal in case they'd made a mistake and they ended up having to pay for the drinks themselves. They were going for more drinks after, that they'd have to pay for themselves, so he couldn't go. The boss offered to buy him a beer if he went with them, but he snuck off when nobody was watching to get the bus back. I hate him too.

  17. This may come as a surprise to you, but I have seen the team I support since 3rd division days. They were truly less than average then, ate. Since then, I have seen us win the league and the European Cup - we were distinctly a lot better than average then. If you think that because I think a player who currently plays in this less than average team is only average, I'd suggest you carry on living in Panini world. I've invested a lot more in this club to listen that cobblers...... So you're not to fussed if he leaves then your highness? Not particularly, providing we get the right deal for the club.....your holiness Will at least one fan will not be downbeat about his departure....your majesty.
  18. We do. Which is why we prefer he doesn't play.

  20. Just some interesting sleuthing about Al Baltan (I think) . Hopefully good news. Let's hear it then....
  21. Origi is like shopping at Waitross. We can't even afford Aldi at the moment.
