First venture into the world of Rolex and have my heart set on a Submariner Date - Black face. Current RRP is £6250 yet on Chrono24 they are already going for above that. I have had Watches of Switzerland commit to getting me one at RRP - they have had to order it in though ! Currently have Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Golf Edition - love it

I go once a year to Okehampton in Devon for a golfing weekend - last year the town was particulary busier than normal - when i asked a local he said that a "famous" white stag had been seen on the moors and there was a £10k on its head - and the hunters from far and wide, including overseas had come for it. That's some serious Numanoid devotion. I've seen a few bands multiple times, but nowhere near that kind of level. Out of interest, have they all been "top gigs", or were some just kind of, like with football, just going out of habit? Can anyone stay consistent, musically, over 30+ years and remain at a high level? Some were more special than others but in the main it was whenever he was on i would go. In 1983 he did a 22 date UK tour and me and a pal went to 17 of them. Interstingly in 1981 i saw him fill wembley arena 3 nights on the run compared to gigs i have seen where he has struggled to fill 1000 places in poxy venues. His new album Dead Son Rising is a far cry from his original cars stuff, in fact he is getting huge appraisals for his new stuff and lots of big artsists are now name checking him for his pioneering stuff in the 80's. His music has changed almost every album - late 80's to early 90's 90's it was at its lowest as he in his own words "lost his way" since 96 he has found the sounds he was looking for (mainly from issues within his personal life) and he has now developing a real industrial rock theme and personally i think it works brilliantly. As for devotion i met a guy i had not seen for years at leamington and it was his 105th show!!!

Your perception certainly changes when you had kids of your own. Again if my son came home with her i would be chuffed and would make her very welcome - but i am sure his Mother would be appalled. I often like many have to go to the dentist. If i have to have a tooth extracted / serous work done then i have a localised injection to numb the pain - this works very well.I am glad that it does as to have a tooth extracted without pain relief would be beyond my threshold. So is it more humane to stun into unconsciousness an animal prior to killing it rather than cutting its throat whilst fully awake? I think the answer is pretty conclusive - yes

I am not religious in the slightest but i consider it ironic that they kill one of their Gods creatures in his name If there is a God then i am sure he would not mind one of his creatures not suffering for him and a humane way of slaughtering an animal would be acceptable

It is alledged that the reasoning behind the name calling of "Sheep shaggers" to our Welsh friends was explained to me a while ago - not sure if true though Apparantly many years ago it was a crime punishable by death to be found stealing sheep. A clever rustler when knowing he would be apprehended dropped his trousers and claimed that he was actually having sex with the animal. Albeit socially less acceptable (by some margin) it did not carry the death penalty but a relatively short jail sentance so it became a common ruse to escape hanging. I Have smoked for 32 years and have tried to quit many times previously - i am now on my 6th week and today due to a culmination of things had a fag - initially it felt wonderful and relieved the stress - now i just feel like shit and most importantly felt that the whole 6 weeks of quitting was a waste of time. Ever since that one this morning all i have thought about is another. Its really sad how addictive they are (those that have never smoked or quit easily do not know how lucky you are) I have reduced the size of patch this week and due to lots of shit at work and at home it all got too much today I am determined to do it but i actually enjoyed smoking - it was the health of my body and my wallet that has made this choice If i could honestly regulate myself to "only when i drink / go out etc" then i would continue - but i know after a couple i would be back to 20+ per day I sympathise with anyone trying to do it - it is and can be bloody murder at times

The problem as i see it is that everyone knows we wanted Bellamy (whether he ever considered coming is another thing) but we certainly made enough noises about wanting him. You know what precious **** these modern day players are - will whoever we go after not now feel like second best? How can the club / DOL honestly state that this was his target all along and be convincing enough?
