  1. They draw a lot so the good form thing is a little bit of a myth. They'll try and do a containing job and hit us. We just need to be at it from the off and grab that early goal.
  2. We still have to play majority of the teams up there home and away so it's still very much in our hands. We do however have to ensure those games go well.
  3. McGinn was a bolt out the blue really so I wouldn't hang on to speculation as a gauge of things.
  4. My worry with changing now is that we kick off in a few weeks. A new manager this close with no pre-season is asking for trouble. I'd also wager Bruce is popular with the squad. Timing probably dictates we don't rock the boat now but Bruce will have to hit the ground running and we need to be among the pace setters, none of this catch up bollocks.
  5. You're not going to sell Kodija quickly. Who will touch him after the injuries bearing in mind he looked a shadow of the player from last year? If he goes it will be for sod all as no one in the PL will take a gamble on a player that hasn't scored from open play since spring 2017.
  6. Bree has played at LB so Hutton could switch as he did tonight. TBH it's all we have so it has to work.
  7. He must be great at the training ground You Tube Vid
  8. PS - As for beating Fulham - We went to Craven Cottage missing both Jack and Albert who have been integral to our post Xmas form. It may have been a bit different that day had we have had a threat rather than being forced to sit back and try and draw. I also remember JK giving them a good going over leading us to beat them at Villa Park. Despite Fulham's run, a Villa team with Albert, Jack and Jimmy firing will cause anyone trouble.
  9. I do wonder how not getting second might affect either Fulham or Cardiff. Cardiff have had it in their hands for such a long time that to fail now would be a kick in the teeth regardless of what Warnock says to the media. Fulham are another funny one - their fans have slowly convinced themselves that 2nd is theirs. The run they have been on has been great and has raised expectations. They have built themselves up and comments on their boards after Brentford were interesting. Both teams expect second now and one is going to fail and that could bring a whole different mindset to the party. As for us, we're are preparing for the play offs. We know that it's the likely route so you just wonder. How often does the 3rd place team ending up making a pig's ear of the play offs because they find it hard to 'go again'?
  10. Our run included thrashing a Bristol team that had just dumped Utd out the cup and Sheff Utd away who were strongly placed. You can only beat what's in front of you. If we played Derby tomorrow I'd be confident of putting them away.
  11. For all this talk of Fulham's form, they are only 1 point better off over the last 6 games and that includes 3 against us. There's no need to panic yet.
  12. Until he add regular goals and assists to his game then none of the big teams will come calling. He's undoubtedly influencing games but the lack of goals is a blot on his profile at the moment.
  13. It's a classic example of the know it all fans in modern football. If a player doesn't score a hat trick in the first three games they're shit. We had it with Petrov, who incidentally is a hero now, and we'll have it again. Some people need to realise FM18 is not the same as real life.
  14. An attacker is the only area we need to shore up. I think we're pretty secure elsewhere but if we could find someone with an eye for a goal it could transform us.
