  1. There are comedy sounding Chinese dynasties, so had to look it up just in case. It's the name of the 90s comeback album by Man. Maybe one to come back to? 3000 years?
  2. Angry Birds pig. No surprise, it was made in China. Maybe more surprising? It's 3000 years old.
  3. Saturday 16th May had a pretty epic Thrash/Punk lineup, you're getting value for your £2 there.

    GEEK!!

40 years ago Discovered Rebellion yesterday too. Could see a market for 2000AD merch, but who's buying 'Battle'? Also saw a new range of 'Labyrinth' toys in the (shit) 70s/80s figure style. I get why kids would like cool looking accurate figures and models from McFarlane, also why adults might like a 3A Desert Bramble or ABC Warrior. Are adults buying retro tat harking back to a time before they got mugged off and the future looked less bleak?

    GEEK!!

You could imagine Daryl McCormack's mates getting some mileage out of this. "They needed a helmet and you were first name on the list" etc.
  8. One of the more boggling aspects of Tory Brexit was manufacture and agriculture were to take the hit, and that bit was in the Brexit brochure, known and picked up on by the media.
  9. This was a speech to half a dozen hedge fund execs in a booth of a Cayman Island Champagne bar?
  10. The Future Sound Of London - 'Papua New Guinea' (L. Major Remix)

  14. The greys got nice pensions, but the state of the NHS. I'd imagine it's a fairly small percentage that'll be better off if we continue to roll towards where Tory donors want us to be? This is one of my friends in the US. The pic was captured mid Jan, for time reference.
  15. This ticks a lot of the wrong boxes. Live recordings of popular bands on little labels are often for completists. Not this one, it has much wider appeal. The band sing and play beautifully and the offered samples suggest a crisp stereo recording. @Seat68, this Bluegrass banger might be one to put a smile on your face?
  16. Suicidal Angels - 'Purified By Fire'
  17. With a nice record deck and a habit of digitising records it would be an A/D for the nice record deck for me. The proof of the pud is in the tasting, ultimately. You're content. Carry on
  18. Tara Clerkin Trio - 'The Turning Ground'
