Surely the price should be the most outrageous thing about the shirt
You're right. It should.
I can understand the player version being that price. It costs what it costs - they've got to make the best kit for the athlete.
The replica prices are outrageous though.
Still, it'd probably be about £40 if it wasn't caked in leftist iconography.

Shit manager.
I'd sooner crawl bollock naked down the M6 rolling a pea under my nose than watch a team managed by this word removed.

We actually got more flak for launching this one which was a LITERAL GEORGE CROSS.
Because England don't play in red.

Why is that?
I actually designed the 2010 shirt too. Peter did the graphic concept with @PauloBarnesi.
We blatantly spelt out that it was representative of the fabric of modern England.

I turned 45 yesterday.
Think I was about 23 when I started posting on the original VT.

Good result at a tough place to go - particularly with key players missing.
This is a team that is in the Europa League QF and, had they won today, would've been a point behind Man Utd.
They might play crap football, but they're very effective.
Take the point, get home.

If Ben Mee had done that to Jacob Ramsey we'd have wanted him sent to prison.
We've just got to suck this one up, sadly.

I tried really hard not to put "she didn't start the fire" but if I'd known this was in the pipes I'd have gone straight in.
Superb work.

when it was confirmed he was joining us, i watched an interview with Rogers when he left City and joined Boro.
He mentioned that he struggled at City with confidence and enjoying the game, as he found Pep's strong systematic approach not enjoyable, and he said it took some of his freedom from his game, and he didnt enjoy not being able to express himself, then he mentioned how he was loving it at Boro due to the freedom he has to express himself without much tactical restraint.
Obviously he is a little older now, he has playing time under his belt, maybe his perspective has changed, but when i saw that i just though...."you do know you are going to be playing under Emery right?......Mr Tactical System...."
Will be interesting to see how he develops under Emery, he clearly has the technical and physical abilities to succeed in the Prem, will be interesting to see how he adapts to Emery's demands.
I didn't know that, so it's good insight.
For me, there's a clear difference between Pep's almost robotic system and how Emery sends his teams out.
There's the requirement for tactical understanding and discipline, but there also seems to be a lot of trust in the individual to express themselves.
In some respects, that may be even harder. When to deploy the instructions and when to trust your instincts.
As Bailey proves, though, if you can figure it out the results are outstanding.

To add to that, I won't presume that everyone on VT knows my life story, but my nephew was stabbed and killed in Sutton Coldfield in 2020 so I'm speaking from experience here.

A friend of my youngest son who used to play in the same football team as him last year got stabbed to death in Wolverhampton yesterday, 17 years old
Absolute tragedy, I know his dad quite well because he’s done a lot for my son in the past cannot imagine what it can be like. Parents worst nightmare, heartbreaking
So sorry to hear that mate.
Once things have settled down, the Dad could benefit from channelling his grief into something positive.
The Daniel Baird Foundation would be a good start. They focus on putting bleed control kits where they might be most needed.
Nothing will make up for the loss of his son, but your friend will feel a bit better if he can save the life of somebody else's.

I've always been a Fluoxetine kinda guy. The original and still the best

Let's not underestimate the level of tactical nous required to play Emery's system.
Coaching it into a player with years of top-level experience is always going to happen quicker than a young kid, regardless of background.

Bad timing for Moussa no doubt, but he'll be back. He showed early on what he's made of. We've still got a star on our hands.
If only we had previous experience of signing a jet-heeled, box-o-tricks winger from Leverkusen who had only shown his ability in flashes before coming good...
This guy isn't a Milot Rashica (whatever happened to him?!). He's a full French international we signed from a regular Champions League team.
WHEN we have him and Leon full throttle, the streets better be ready!

I always thought it was very moving the way she almost met the residents of Grenfell and then almost got something done about Grenfell.
Are we 100% certain she didn't start it?
