Torres looks so far off the standard, has cost us a few goals so far this season due to lack of pace and lack of strength

The players are still playing for him but are completely out of confidence, I'd like him to be given more time as I believe he can turn it around.

Mings has been class since that early mistake, he needs to play with that intensity every game from the start.

First half was shambolic, I have never seen our formation so wide open and full of gaps and our mid field totally pressed like that, I can’t recall conceding those types of goal on a break where the rest of the ream was so far away out of position, we were a huge mess. In fairness to Targett, he was left on his own, and Cash was just terrible all game. These two will come good. And in answer to some comments on here: Jacob Ramsey is good enough to start on this showing and pre-season he was the best midfielder on Saturday. Whether we can buy improvement on him is another question.

For me, Nakamba had a very good game but I don’t think he is good enough over a full season, we defo need an upgrade. His replacement has to improve McGinn as well and unleash Buendia. Otherwise I think we need someone other than McGinn (Sanson?) and then McGinn is a squad player. 

Ings changes everything as now we play a 4-4-2 it’s going to take some getting used to. This is a big surprise to me and surely a totally different direction to what we intended at the start of the window?

He's a weasel, fkd over Ireland and now fkd over the Villa. I knew he would leave as he showed his character when he switched to England. I hope his career falls to shit after this...

Politics in football is like going into the summer transfer thread and having to read through pages of utter dribble by a certain few people who think their opinion is more important than the actual subject matter.

Personally I'm sick of it all and only watch football to enjoy football...

Jack isn't Irish, he's a Brummie who just happens to be eligible to play for them 

It shows his character. I'd love to see him stay at Villa and become a club icon but it's very possible that he chooses to leave for a more established team competing at the top.

He already did the dirty on Ireland so he has form which leads me to believe he will jump ship but I hope I'm wrong!

Absolute dog shite...they look like they've never played together before. So many average nothing players in that team and the formation with 3 centre backs should mean we are hard to break down but instead we've been gifting chances so he needs to change it!

Davis was a beast when he came on and Samagoal was impressive. Grealish was good but overplayed it at times.

We should of scored, then gave up two crap goals. We played some nice stuff at times, samagoal looks decent. Need to get a goal back and get them rattled
