  1. Just says "coming soon" on the ticket page.

Either it's sold out and they can't be bothered to put a proper update on the site, or the tickets are "coming soon" with just a couple days to go lol

How would all the extra fans will get to the ground? Any plans beyond the current ones will require significant infrastructure investments in the surrounding area (like a tram link).

I don't think that would stop us. It's a one in a lifetime chance, you build to how you want but don't open all the seats until the transport infrastructure is in place

  3. Is he allowed to play for us in our last 2 games, or does the terms of the loan mean he is there officially until the end of the season?

Meaning he can't play for us even though their season is over?

It still wasn’t the complete performance that this was though was it?

I remember pundits saying we played like a Champions League team that day.

We had a lot of brilliant performances under Smith that season we finished 11th.

Its always easy to say the latest game is the best ever.

As much as I loved today, still preferred the Liverpool 7-2 victory, as that should have been double figures really.

The main thing is we are more likely to repeat todays performance, it was similar to the Bournemouth win a few weeks ago. We are starting to dominate teams and winning comfortably regularly now.

I’ll say again, not sure I can remember a better all round and dominant performance since we returned to the Premier League?

The 7-2 against Liverpool was an amazing performance and result but we did concede two goals that evening. The performance today was very special indeed. Totally, totally dominant. Newcastle seemed totally shell shocked and a team that had only lost three games this season.

I can honestly watch the game over and over again. Amazing day.

3-0 v Le Arse was pretty good!

  6. We scored 3 goals where you expect the player to put it away, we hit the post and bar where youd expect the player to put it away, we also had one disallowed.. yet xG thinks we should only have scored 1 complete goal?

That reminds me why I stopped looking at that crap xG stat 2 weeks after it became popular.

We should have had 6 today.

The government limits rail seating at the moment to 1-1 - you're still only allowed to have the same number of people in the area as you would with normal seating. There's hope in football that they'll change that as they become more comfortable with it, but at the moment it's stuck that way.

I think one of the main reasons it's going to be Upper Holte is that we're a gnats knacker from some jobsworth at the council shutting off several hundred seats in the Upper Holte due to persistent standing - putting in rail seating bats that off.

The additional two thousand remain a bit of a mystery to me I must admit.

Maybe there is some kind of leeway with the scales that the 1:1 is based on?

For example seating in North stand is far tighter than the seating in the Holte, maybe they can rip the seats out of the Holte and base the new rail seating on the 1:1 scale from the North stand (where it will also be introduced)? Thus increasing the previous capacity.. If seating in the stadium exists at that ratio required and will be installed in another part of the ground then an argument can be made legitimately for using the same ratio in other parts of the ground also.

Pretty underwhelming and meh. Game we should’ve won but lacking quality. Soft pen for them and not sure why the same wasn’t applied by VAR for ours.

Because theirs was given, so VAR wont overturn unless it thinks its a clear and obvious error (in my opinion it was and should have been overturned) But its very rare they overturn them these days

Same logic again on ours, it wasnt initially given so VAR wont overturn unless its "clear and obvious error"

Pathetic refereeing, I don't know why we have such **** refs in this country

The co-commentator was biased to the point is was almost funny. When Martinez was kicked in the hand he said "Martinez jammed his hand into the defender and injured himself".

Tony Gale.. Ex West Ham player who spent 10 years there, he's very biased towards them every time hes on commentary

  10. What is the point of VAR? If they can't see a blatant dive and overturn it as a clear and obvious error, then why is it even there?

And from a referees point of view, if you know VAR is there to catch your mistakes, then why would you give a penalty if you haven't seen a foul? surely if you miss a foul then you know VAR is there to catch it, so you should only be giving a penalty if you are certain there's a foul.. which he couldn't have been as there was no foul.

Pathetic, why does the "best league in the world" have the worst referees and VAR's??

  11. What's worse is they don't allow you to return online orders to the club shop.

    "They are seperate to us"

Is it so hard to set this up, even if they are seperate? Just have a drop of area for online returns and run the returns to headquarters, even if its just once a week. Would make the customer experience so much better, I havent ordered online since as its a joke of a service.

The club must have a replacement lined up or at least in mind, I don't like the idea of Duran having all that pressure on him when he starts (especially jumping from MLS to the Premiership), he'll need time to adjust.

I understand the concern, I don't think you should ever let a player go without having a replacement in the works already so lets hope that is what's happening.

Lets not forget hes away playing 4 games in 8 days for Colombia u20s

Should have at least kept Ings around until Duran was here and available for selection. Seeing as Archer is out on loan as well. (as are B Young and Barry I believe)

We literally only have 1 striker at the club, and its generous calling him that with his form in front of goal this season.

    He's the latest scapegoat.

Miles better than Targett and more than good enough for where we are at the moment and where we are aiming for in the next 12-18 months IMO

Not having it, Targett was our player of the year the season before we replaced him. Was a joy watching him and Grealish work together down the left.

Digne I'm still waiting to see him have a good game. Apart from that free kick v man utd he's been poor. Especially considering how much he cost and his wages.

  14. I don't understand why I don't get a vote. Thought there was a mistake so kept trying.. but no, I just don't qualify

I've been to more matches than a lot of current season tickets and membership holders.

The poll is very interesting, how people who arent allowed to vote seem to all prefer the gaslamp, me included.

Would have been an interesting additional option to see a vote on the lion facing left rather right, just doesn't feel correct facing the wrong way. What was the reasoning behind changing it, or more importantly not allowing it to be voted on.

But what do I know, I'm not a proper fan according to the club as I am not allowed to vote

  15. Dyche getting a lot of stick for some reason. I think he did a great job at Burnley. Didn't he get them into Europe one season as well?

Is he my first choice? No. But I think his past achievements deserve respect and a chance at a mid to bottom half premier league club.

One thing for certain, we won't get relegated with him, Amorim could be another Gerrard / Garde. Risky appointment like that could see us relegated again. Would be nice to have an exotic up and coming foreign coach, but right now I'd prefer the safer option. Can't afford to get relegated again.

If we can't get Poch or Emery then I'd happily settle for Dyche.

No **** chance. He's gone. We were shite before the sending off. Purslow has to act now, he has no choice.

"The thought of replacing Gerrard hadnt even crossed my mind"

so it far fetched to think the next comment will be "We were reduced to 10 men by ineffiecient refereeing, making it unfair for the manager to react accordingly to going a goal down"?
