Yeah he does it with all the Sky 6 teams.

Why does the Commentator have to shreik their names when they take a shot?
-
They will get out of it yet again - we just know it don't we
-
Why dont they play again for another 2 weeks? They will have 2 games in hand on us?
-
Doesn't a planning permission remain valid for 5 years once granted? Also doesn't that mean that you only have to make a start within 5 years to keep it valid? It's not that we have withdrawn our application is it - or have we?

I do want us to get Champions league football, just for the proof we have done it. But we are no way ready for CL, no way at all. We will just bomb out first round.
Me too because i fear Emi and maybe Ollie and Dougie may leave for CL footbsll and i doubt we will get another chance for a long time as i dont expect Man U and Chelsea will be as poor next season. Just to hear that Champs League Anthem at VP would be so emotional

When you look at this as well, how do we compete with that? It's hardly a fair metric either given everything in London is more expensive, so their revenue is always going to have a % increase on the rest of the country.
I remember going to Spurs away one time some years ago. We beat them and i remember as we walked back to our car, hearing their fans saying how envious they were of us and how great Gareth Barry was - at the time they were in danger of going down - but of course they didn't. . How things have changed

Sorry but this is absolute bollocks. The media have been praising us all season and have constantly ridiculed Spurs for years because they wont win anything with talented teams.
But by all means play the victim card if you like. Everyone's out to get Aston Villa. We're turning into Liverpool fans it seems.
Fair enough. Just my opinion
-
Well we are almost where the media want us now - not quite though because plucky little Aston Villa surely should not be qualifying for the CL. If not one of the so called big 6, surely it should be everyone's supposed second team Newcastle. . They will be so thrilled to see Spurs in 4th though. Sickening. They all love big Ange so much too
-
When will we know for sure if 5th will get CL?
-
Hate City. Hate how the commentators shreik out their players' full names when they have an attack. Not just them but for all of the Sky 6 actually

Have to say, watching the game on TV, yet again, all you could hear was the away supporters. Other than a 5 minute rendition of SH get battered, I can't remember hearing the Holte End at all.
That's been the case for most of the season. I went to almost every game home and away last season and it wasn't like that then.
What has changed? Have the mics moved? Are we more expectant as a fanbase and therefore quieter? Have the Terrace View daytrippers cut the singing from the Holte?
I think the tv studio has moved to near the away fans by Witton/North stand somewhere? It used to be corner of Witton and Holte - surely that shd be moved back there?

So Haaland is waiting to get his 30th goal this season apparently . . .

WM having to apologise for Spam fans swearing!
This really annoys me in radio and tv. FFS if you are attending, watching or listening to football, you expect to hear swearing. Mind you i don't like it at games near young children

Apparently according to Talk Sport match reporter earlier a win for Spurs will put them 4th GOING INTO THE INTERNATIONAL BREAK Hmm no games tomorrow then? Hope that's not a premonition

Media saying we were "thrashed" by Spurs. I am sure if it were the other way round it would be "Villa thrash TEN MAN Spurs". We were losing, yes, but the so called "thrashing" came after the sending off

A bit of discussion around this in the Spurs thread.
In terms of Villa and to start the debate... why should pensioners get any concession?
Why should a 65 year old get much cheaper tickets than say a 60 year old or a 22 year old? A lot of pensioners are well-off and some are poor, similar to the rest of the adult population. Actually there are probably more pensioners with a higher disposable income than someone in their 20's.
Isn't charging all adults (excluding students) the same price the fairest way?
Hmm i have had a Season Ticket for many years now and this coming season is the first time i will qualify for OAP discount. The discount isn't that much and, having spent so much on STs over many years during dark times too, i am looking forward to the concession. Oh and don't generalise that all OAPs are well off.

Bring back ST holder discount in club shop and free first home cup game.
