West Ham could have won if Antonio didn't finish like a toddler...one to discuss on his next podcast.
I often wonder who the hell is listening to all these podcasts.

Cracking results for us, that.

I’ve just had random flashbacks of Engels completely missing the ball.
That was painful.

9 points between 13th and 14th... 7 teams should get relegated this season.
I genuinely can’t recall Palace ever winning a match this season and they seem to probably be safe.

I think with Ollie out this is the lineup I would go for. Really fine balance between putting Rogers or Zaniolo on to start, but I’ve gone for Morgz
This will be the team.

There is no way we sign him for the 25m(?) agreed option on him.
If we sign him, it will be at a much lower price.

Ait Nouri would be fantastic in this Villa super team.

I’m starting to think the need for a left back is greater than the need for a right back in the Summer..
-
Classy operator all match, every match.
Slowly beginning to come round to the idea of him as a right back. He lacks certain things you’d expect in a right back but makes up for it by being an out and out f****** awesome defender.

Really liked the look of Doyle and Ait-Nouri yesterday.

Was really impressive yesterday tbf.

Lost a yard of pace. Decent player but one to possibly move on in the summer if the right offer comes in (which I doubt it will). Still very useful. Dreadful today.

Did ok. Won’t be here much longer.

Mostly excellent. In fact, he’s been mostly very good since he came. Struggles with the defensive side of the game but that can be taught.
Really like what I see. May become an absolute baller.

Depends what you are looking at. Was fantastic running with the ball and carrying it forward but gave Moreno absolutely no support. If you see my comments since he came, ive high hopes for him but he shouldn’t be starting yet. Zaniola should be starting all day long and he be good sub when teams are tired
Absolute nonsense.

Wonder what kind of points deduction they’ll get next season if they’re still in the championship.

Just looking at the table and the fixtures, if they lose to Preston, it’s likely they’ll then lose to Leicester and the teams around them will all pick up a fair amount of points by virtue of playing each other and easier sides.
The Preston game at home is massive for them.

Still outside the drop zone, but it’s another game they probably looked at as a strong potential for points and another failure.
One point from their last seven games.
Play off chasing Preston next followed by faltering Leicester.
After these two I’d say they have a decent run in tbf.
The slight issue they have is, although they seem to always hover above the bottom 3, the teams above them are starting to put a bit of daylight between them. In a couple of weeks time, Blues could win and not move up a place in the table.
Up the terriers/owls.
mate.

Would love Onana at Villa
He looked decent the other night for Belgium. He’s going to turn into a very, very good player. Physically, he’s a monster. Like him a lot.

I cannot for the life of me comprehend that we aren’t thinking about a new stadium.
Half of our stadium isn’t fit for purpose in the modern day and the Holte End, if you take away its size, isn’t exactly state of the art.
Build me a new stadium with a nice brick facade and I’m happy.

It’ll be Toney. And I’m fine with that. The current England manager has taken any last ounce of enthusiasm I had for the national team from me and I simply couldn’t care less. His decisions are wrong and they aren’t reflective of what is actually happening in football.
When he is gone, which he will be soon, I’ll start only ever so slightly caring again.
Up the Watkins.

It doesn’t matter how many points deductions you throw at Everton and Forest, the bottom 3 are so poor, they’ll probably stay up anyway
