It's never a Liverpool European campaign without a comeback that the scouse will then talk about for millenia

Can't blame the subs we had to. Can't run the players into the ground. It's just a shame our squad depth has taken a hammering. Next week will be so tough and then the following Bournemouth game I fear we'll be shot in terms of fitness

Next leg could see a lot of English teams eliminated, pretty sad if that happens. We have a very slender lead also. Have no idea if Liverpool will turn this around but they've really cocked up.

Madison really needs to be banned for that punch, how on earth they missed that. He extends his arm and then it abruptly stops after connecting with his stomach. Disgusting player. Hope they throw the kitchen sink at him and misses the remainder of the games.
-
Surely they need to look into that and hand him a ban. He can't be throwing punches and getting away with it. That's more of a criminal act he's done there
-
I don't think 4th will happen. Tottenham have a more able squad then us and we have to deal with suspensions and conference. It's no longer in our hands

1-0 is a much better lead for us than being 2-0 up
100, either mentally fragile at 2-0 or just idiots that think the job is done and clock off

We're just shooting ourselves in the foot as if the injuries aren't enough we had to deal with Kamara, McGinn and now Luiz suspensions. Frickin ridiculous

Watkins and Martinez back get inn

My worry is that we were banking on selling Ramsey to avoid a PSR breach.
My one thought is whether Ramsey could actually be okay to play in a few weeks, but we're choosing to just rest him and ensure the injury doesn't get any worse again, because we're expecting to be able to sell him in the summer.
Quite a theory there. Nothing to suggest we'd be open to selling Ramsey

If the FK just hits Zaniolo on the corner of the wall having jumped to the side like he did, no one cares.
It's totally outcome bias to blame him. A lot of places jump to the side because naturally the ball is more likely to be aimed around the wall rather than in between it.
How's he meant to know Foden puts it where he's stood? It's just not his fault.
Tbh I was thinking this too, send natural to do maybe to block that side

For the B team they have done very well. They should be proud of themselves bar that Zaniolo brain fart

What are the chances Zaniolo squeezes out to one side and Foden happens to choose that gap ffs

The newish players in the starting line up in Tim, Zaniolo and Rogers. Not looking forward to this anymore. He must have said play with no fear. I fear a drubbing coming up

Doku is frightening with his pace and trickery.
Really cannot see Unai giving Tim his full debut against man city. It will be Tielemans and Luiz again. Same team except Digne, Zaniolo and Duran for Moreno, Rogers and Watkins
-
If that's the case, don't risk him against City, likely going to lose that game anyway but hoping he's back for the next game at the weekend.

Get a draw somehow that's be great. No matter what happens don't lose with a heavy score line

Where have they said tight hamstrings? Seeing this on Twitter too. Hope so

Fair play to him. Played seriously well as the more defensive cover of the double pivot. First ball to Watkins deserved an assist.
Beauty of a pass
