Pretty much how I see it. Randy is waiting on the outcome of Martinez and Di Matteo.....I don't think there can be many other reasons for such a delay.

I just wanted to post that whatever happens Aston Villa is bigger than any individual currently overseeing this collapse. Its easy to say it - but this is just a sour chapter in this Club's illustrious History - it will pass, and Villa will once again find its rightful place at the top end of English Football. An American and his pals have made a complete hash of things - to the extent that many people just cannot fathom any sort of logical thinking behind recent decisions - but it will pass. The owner and co. simply don't understand Aston Villa, what it means to those who have grown up with it - and regardless of what happens they also cannot take that connection away. Up the Villa - and here is to better days ahead, wherever that may take Aston Villa FC.

How on earth is he still in his role?! I can only postulate that Villa's finances are so poor that Mr.Lerner has taken the view that Mcleish is the best manager he can get - under the circumstances. ....but even that doesn't stack up any longer. I'm truly baffled by it, truly baffled. Is Randy hoping that Mcleish might quit so he doesn't have to pay him off?? I just cant figure it out!

I just don't believe that Randy will make this appointment, its wrong on so many levels - I fail to find a single positive. What concerns me is that they are seemingly relying on advisers - with themselves not having a 'gut feeling' for the game. It would demonstrate a severe lack of understanding IMO - and for the first time in my supportership, really bring into question our dealings - as, quite clearly, he would have been tapped up. This just goes against everything Randy has done since being at Villa. makes no sense, at all.

Its becoming patently clear as to why the Browns are consistently one of the worst franchises in the NFL!
