  1. Listening to the wolves wolves manger is so refreshing and forward thinking. Bruce is just not what we need right now!!
  2. When at centre half everytime they showed a reply of them threatening, when the attack was over you'd just catch him jogging into view. Absolutely appalling attitude and ability. I stupidly thought he'd come into his own at championship level but after tonight all belief in him has now gone.

Sorry if this has been said but for me has lack of pace is a problem for English football. He has bags of ability but unless he is in a position to immediately deliver (albeit shoot, pass or whatever) I always get the feeling that the man he has just beat will track him back with relative ease. Adama has half the ability and footballing brain but is likely to be twice as effective in English football, due to his pace alone. It's a shame because I like the guy and admire his ability but i think he will definitely thrive in a slower more technical football style.
  4. I get it and I too don't want anyone that isn't 100% committed, especially you'd hope when first joining the club. However, as has been already said, if we are going to introduce to negotiations 'if we get relegated' then I can't blame players who also want to protect their careers, should relegation happen, assuming of course this is the case. Although relegation clauses are understandable, an thank god we put them in, I can't help but think that it must bring an air of negativity when trying to sell the club to prospective players and would imagine we brought the what ifs to the table and not gueye.
  5. I don't think there will be anything public from moyes, because there is nothing official to decline. I think there has been enough reported, from a range of outlets to suggest that he has in fact withdrew his interst. I for one am pretty gutted, but I am unsure if its moyes the manager or moyes the name that I am most disappointed about loosing out on. I feel we are craving out for a high profile name to most importantly give the club a much needed lift, but also to instill a bit of an interiority complex on our championship competitors, something benitez will undoubtedly provide newscastle should he stay. Pearson and rdm may well do a very good job for us but psychologically I'd much rather come up against their teams in the championship than a Moyes team. I would expect that would have been worth a few points within itself.
  6. Not disputing he is trying get a duscussion, or probably more likely attention, but no thinking face on my twitter feed?
  7. Collymore just tweeted 'David Moyes'. Could mean anything, but I am hoping he has receivedsome good news!
  8. I'm guessing but maybe the club will not pursue his choice till the league give consent for him to take over. Pure guess work again but to me this would suggest that his choice is different to that of hollis's. If they both wanted the same man, and if he was currently available, then I'm sure they'd just get it done. For this reason I personally don't think it'll be Pearson?
  9. To be fair if we wanted to insert a wage reduction if relegated ( which I fully understand), then I too would negotiate the opportunity to move if relegated and x amount is offered. Its the 4mil that doesn't seem right to me?
  10. Did we not have statement from Lerner soon after the 48 hr claim? Maybe that was what was been referred to, or maybe just a coincidence?
  11. Really worrying for me. I was reassured that at least with kings presence we had a genuine fan who would ensure things were done with the best interests of the club in mind. Him leaving suggests that things are not. Pat Murphy was on 5 live drive and he speculated that maybe their decision to leave was contributed to by Reilly staying at the club, who he said randy thinks very highly of. He also said of the sale that randy is ready to take a massive hit finacially, just to get away and that he is at the point where he can longer even speak publicly about the club, as he is embarrassed by the knowledge that his actions have got us to where we are today ( sorry if that has already been posted). All speculation on his behals but an interesting angle. blacks weekends critic rambling that he is trying to avert player anarchy due to uncertainty, then today's resigning suggest something very very odd is going on. What I am unsure, but I'm worried we have further to fall!
  12. However expected it was the timing that was appalling. Clearly couldn't give a shit about the club, or at least those he employs to represent him. If ever there was a time to keep your mouth shut, this weekend was it.
  13. Exactly. Looking at NP's record on paper and I could be convinced that he'd do a decent job. However, Lambert, Sherwood and remi have all had to experiment with their back room team whilst with us and that hasn't proved successful (admittedly those Lambert initially brought with him didn't cover thselves in glory, to say the least) Even the Leicester fans i've read trying to convince us of his worth question what he will be like without his back room team, who will no doubt remain at their club? It is imperative we get this right and for that reason alone it's too big a doubt to ignore in my opinion. It's unlikely anyone will bring their whole back room team but the main contributors to any success is a must.
  14. 6 managers, 70 singings 2 CEO's, new board, same problem....Randy Lerner To add to the effect you could include all the temporary managers also
  15. I think the next protest should capture and target the dissatisfaction with the players. I am unsure if this will compliment the overall objective of the protest group but I think; a) it will receive greater participation as everyone is turning on them anyway and b ) they clearly don't give a toss about the club, fans or are they willing to do a thing to earn their millions that they extort from the club. A few tweets from pat Murphy summed it up for me where he said words to the affect that; many good people at the club find out about their jobs tomorrow whilst the players hide behind their tinted windows and have a quiet word with their agent's. I get the protest is aimed at the clubs hierarchy and owner but in my humble opinion it would be waste of good opportunity not to let the team know that we hold them to account. I'm not defending Lerner, and I want him gone, or at least motivated as much as most, but watching them clowns stroll about without a care in the world is just wrong on all levels. And just to rub it in they reward them selves with, and promote, nice new mercs and holidays in Dubai whilst we sit distraught with what our club has become.
  16. One of the from best put downs was from an opposing fan who said ' he has a face like a used condom'.
  17. It also concerns me, as out the three we have the most to do to mount a promotion challenge, with the chairman the least motivated to do so. The pain of been laughed for dropping would be preferable to getting stuck in the championship.
  18. With it looking increasingly like Newcastle will be joining us, if we want Moyes I feel we need to act pretty quickly. If Rafa runs if relegated, which im sure he will, we could face competition for moyes . To be fair i think Mike Ashley will throw more money than lerner at coming straight back, plus the fact in my opinion they currrently have a man for man far superior squad than us, I think if we hang about we'll loose out. I'm passed trying to figure out what's best for our club but if Moyes is the man we want, then just get it done!
  19. Although I have been an advocate of remi's, and I still am to a degree, as our hideous form has continued it is apparent that a change is inevitable, and most likely needed. If media reports of a compensation package being at a deadlock are true, I have to say I support hollis's stance. Remi's demeanour and refusal to comit to the club for a number of weeks have pretty much suggested that he will be off on his own accord at the end of season regardless. I get the contractual responsibility to honour the three years given to him, but why should we pay out his contract when he wants out and will probably walk when the time suits? The sooner this comes to an end the better in my opinion. Leicester have proved what momentum can do, so we need we need to try and at least improve the atmosphere around the club, even if we are unlikely to improve results with the current squad. I wish him well but sadly time to move on for both parties.
  20. I watched the programme and they said a phones have been intercepted which contained photos of potential terrorist targets. They said that someone had visited Birmingham and had photos of a football stadium, amongst other sites. I must admitted I straight away thought villa park.
  21. Although not expecting great things from general Charlie, given his previous time here, I actually think he might be what we need, or at least his approach may be what we need I accept he talks a lot of crap and what he says we can achieve is likely to be unrealistic, but I think more than ever we need someone to ruffle a few feathers and place demands on people, especially amongst the under performing playing staff on nice contracts with little or no chance of being offered a move elsewhere. As a club ( not fans I must add) we have accepted, and in some instances rewarded, mediocrity for too long. I am hoping his bullish approach will indirectly call to account few of those within the club just drifting along whilst been paid handsomely, offering very little in return ( effort or quality) His article ' fight like marines' may have been embarrassing ( especially when randy has equipped us with little more than a spud gun) but it's a as much fight as I've heard from anyone within the club this season and is the very minimum we should all expect.
  22. This is the guy who, if my memory is correct, in one of his first interviews ( if not first) said that he was hoping his time with us would be a springboard to better things. He set his stall out immediately so I doubt being loyal will concern him. I could be wrong but given half a chance I think he'll go, and I for one won't be that disappointed. An OK player, but nothing more IMO.
  23. Tbf I think what we save on n'zgobia over next season will just about cover shifting almstadt and riley. Just fox's pay off, hopefully, that we have to find. Just another in a long line of the clubs financial cock ups. And to think Lerner's background is in banking. Come to think of it explains a lot!
  24. Although I'd happily take 5mil for him I question our policy of allowing players to negotiate their sell on price. I am unsure if it's common practice at all clubs, but it doesn't sit right. When players join, or negotiate a contact extension, I hope it is because they are committed for the length of that contract, not with one eye on moving elsewhere. Also it can leave us at a massive disadvantage, just like delph (which I acknowledge was a unique case given he was in his final year). Had miccah had a great season 5 mil would be daylight robbery for a player of his age, only one year in to a contract. That said 5 million for him is about right and like others, I will be pleased to see the back of him.
