comments sound like realistic comments to me. if he said "we will try finish mid table"...he will have shot himself in the foot and we will be in this thread saying not a chance they will finish mid table and hes deluded. their best cb wants to leave and not play. Doubt theres a significant injection of cash which will undo all their previous poor spending and over take teams above them. he definitely should be using money to go into foreign leagues more but its still incredibly difficult market when you got 20+ teams scouting every team out there theyve had how many managers in the past 5/6 years? and every year theyre in a relegation battle. if anyone realistic thinks a manager after 1 window should be pushing a team up multiple positions than youre going to be let down expecting him to be all "happy clappy" (just using this term because of recent use on the forum and find it funny) and treat fans like complete idiots is much worse. the "size of the club" is pretty insignificant when hes had 1 window and nothing changed from previous years

I know theres a lot of games which makes it "tough" over a full season....but the way people were talking championship quality preseason couldn't be any further from the truth. I thought it was going to be a prem lite league from what people were saying . People were making out its really physical and super fit league. Defending is this league is laughably bad. Very surprised how bad the standard is from games I watched

it is quite amazing he was 1 in 2 striker for us given we havent had a set piece taker in a long time. and we played with agbonlahor+wiemann as wingers//inside forwards. wouldnt be surprised if he hit over 20 goals in prem for them. pretty much this. guy on poker site used to work pretty high up in one of the major betting firms and says they would always ban accounts if it looks like they know what theyre doing. they dont need to give reasons for the ban i pretty much just assume everyone is bullshitting if they say theyre winners at football sports betting. especially prem football. pretty sure its the most -ev sports betting there is. and to the guy about self asssessments. peoples self assessments are HORRIBLY wrong. the amount of selective memory when it comes to gambling is pretty incredible. And the general public do not understand variance at all. or they will claim to be winners because they bet once like £100 and won, but then lost a bunch of £1 bets but because theyre up $ wise, they think theyre "winning". when theyre not. bookies make a killing variance is just so key.

i like how it was basically exact repeat for sterling as in euros. great start getting pen in first 5 mins....followed by destroying all attacks rest of the game. how long is gundogan out for? seems somewhat standard to play silva there for peps system until hes back. I know hes "lazy" in defending, but so was toure etc so think theyll be fine. Passing combinations sucked pretty bad and it didnt really click for them so theyll only get better as time goes on
