    I respect you opinion, you carry on wearing your mask for as long as it takes this virus to completely disappear that's fine. The percentage that I would infect someone is so small that, 1. I would need to have the virus, 2. They would have to be vulnerable, 3. There own mask would most probably protect them anyway. 4. I would need to be close enough to infect them. I'm not saying I never wear a mask, but if I pop in a petrol station or local shop, I probably won't bother.

    I'm on the road all the time, trucks rule the roads. Pull out in front of you anytime cause there big and think you will stop. Hog the lanes, try and take over a truck doing exactly the same speed on a 2 lane road. They drive me insane.

    That's a bit old skool. Most of then are fixed now, no adjustment. On these they get blocked and the only way to unblock them is air line down the pipes, which generally only a garage can do.

    It's load of boll***s. If I can stop and let a pedestrian cross safely I will, as always. if I can't, i.e if a car is too close behind or I see they are travelling too quickly, I won't.

    Your statement that a virus could be still live and contagious in the air 15 minutes later is a bit far fetched too. It would pass and infect everyone in the indoor space.

    You better tell the NHS staff then. Cause most are just wearing a surgical mask when dealing with Covid patients.

    I can guarantee vulnerable people are going the supermarkets with surgical masks on, and they ae 99% protected against the virus doing so. It would take a virus carrying non mask wearing shopper to sneeze and breath all over them from close distance for them to risk that 1% of getting it. We really need to chill out a bit. I can understand like @nick76 if there are vulnerable people involved, but there are some right flappers on this thread.

    We always have to remember that these death tolls are not factually due to Covid alone. The reporting is actually far from accurate.

    So you don't go out the pub, don't go out to restaurants and low and behold have never been out near venerable people with a contagious illness. People need to relax a bit and live there lives. Too be honest I haven't worn my mask for a while unless close to people, i.e supermarkets, enclosed spaces. I generally just follow the social distancing rule. I actually never had my booster either as this Omicron has never been bad enough to worry me.
