    I don’t have anything against him at all. He’s just hilariously Partridge-y in just about everything he does, which is endearing more than anything.

    Yeah, Utsiktens are a bit pointless (I say that with nothing but respect for their achievements) and Häcken are a bit meh, so a competitive IFK and GAIS derby would be fantastic.

    Reminds me of a manager (Henning Berg of Blackburn and Man Utd fame) in Norway way back when who was livid the ref didn’t give his side a pen for what he thought was a blatant handball in the area. Upon being presented with video of the incident in his post-game interview, showing that there had clearly never been any handball, he stuck to his guns replying «yeah, but there’s no way the ref could have seen that it wasn’t handball».

    Brilliant. Very much reminds me of another club that I know very well. Hope IFK stay up with GAIS looking set for promotion. Will be a cracking derby and good for football in GBG.

    This is interesting. I used to agree with it, but I’m not sure anymore. Part of me thinks nation states are necessary, and pretty much the ideal size and contains the right level of social trust for organising a functioning welfare state. On the other hand, there are obvious issues the nation state either creates or can’t solve.
