Disciplinary UEFA panel can eat a d***
Yellow cards should be wiped after the Quarter Finals, right...well that is unless aforesaid d*** eating panel speak French?

First game back after injury, played 120minutes, scored to bring us level on agg and sunk a penalty.
Leave him alone lol.
This.
Cash nearly scored three goals FFS and yet still some aren't happy!
When Emery was first at Villa, Cash was playing well, unfortunately he's had a few injuries.
Villa have some strange and highly critical fans.

So who do we want next?

Agreed, Fenerbahçe are the better team I think...

Yup, referee was shocking...that's a few we've had in this competition give some soft fouls against us.
Martinez is just THE most influential player at Villa, absolutely next-level.
Bailey made an impact when he got on but looked to be carrying a knock; Villa need him for the run-in.
Many of the players off it tonight yet we still won; this is a great trait to have for sure.
Extra-time and penalties is so character building for the team and in preparation for our next games and the Semi-final.
Up the VILLA

I really like him, I've always liked him...
And to say he has two goals in a European Quarter Final...
Don't understand the s*** he gets on here, is it because he's handsome perhaps?

A club like Aston Villa needs CL football AND to win trophies. The manager we have is an expert at both.
This is the correct answer.

Even more impressive as he tries more progressive passes than Konsa.
Absolutely, it's the intent to get the ball forward and quickly...
Of course some of his passes are safe as they have to be.

His passing from the back is better than Konsa's i think that is why Emery picks him there.
I think , and always have done, that he was a good signing
I remember reading that statistic too and forgot about it...
Carlos has the second highest Pass Accuracy at 90%, Lenglet has 91%.
Kamara and Luiz both tied at 89%, Torres at 88%.

After Sundays win I think if Villa win the next two before Spuds play another game it's all over for them...
I genuinely believe if Villa win the next two PL matches Spuds are done.

Villa win the next two and Spuds are done I think...

Morgan Rogers is starting to look like a very good player...
He's quick, direct, strong and has the skills...The Arse couldn't deal with his play today.
He's going to get better too!
-
Probably his best game I guess, hope his injury is not too serious.
Zaniolo is definitely in some form just now, he should be fresh and gives us a much needed boost for the run-in if he can stay fit.
If Villa make CL I'd like to see us sign him.
-
After Watkins hit the post first-half the Arse went and tried to score yet that save from Trossard galvanised the team.
Pi55ed me off how the interviewer after they game tried to talk about Arsenal all the time FFS.
"Emi, you are ex-Arsenal. A club close to your heart, how are things going to get out of this"? Etc...blah blah blah.

Villa look tired and fearful at the moment. So shaky against Brentford and just rather lacklustre against Lille.
If they are not with it today I also fear a heavy defeat.

But we had plans for precisely that in 2022, in fact the new North was going to be bugger in scale than the Holte. So we just woild pause and then 'unpause'? Don't know, think something bigger is planned. Either a move or a full rebuild of Witton and N.S
I understand but maybe we paused for the ATAIROS investment and announcement?

For everyone speculating " new stadium ".
Couldn't " infrastructure" investment just as easily be a grandiose redevelopment of VP and environs?
Or VP 2.0 in the same area as I've seen some of you speculate?
That's precisely what I thought when infrastructure was mentioned...
ATAIROS North Stand for example, to rival the Holte in size but with greater and better facilities. The potential is massive...Villa need not move.

Sorry boys, this'll be a loss, our defence won't manage. Saka cheating masterclass.
Sorry had to edit...
I agree, also think this could be a heavy defeat....Villa just look tired and depleted.

Yeah that's emotional...
Lovely little guy too (Ibrahim) so happy....

Wholeheartedly agree.
Years ago I used to watch many games and was interested in the league as a whole.
Only watch Villa games now
Me too...
For about ten years now I've rarely watched other teams; the last few years now I just watch the Villa.
PL stinks, Everton and Forest get charged almost immediately yet City still waiting....it's dodgy.

He's 'cannon fodder'...
His only purpose is to rest a more important player.

Just imagine Spurs lose or only get a point...
Villa get a point at Sh***y then three points against Brentford on Saturday.
-
Duràn was much improved I thought playing that second-half...
For example many times he held the ball up and looked to make a pass or create chances for others where in the past he would have always gone for the shot.
He's adding maturity to his game and if he plays against City he will cause them something to think about.
