Good call. Lambert has built his side around a strong target man in Benteke (and, to a lesser degree, Kozac). Can Bent be trained to fit that role? Or is he too limited in his approach? That's a bit harsh bent has never been that type of player, he can't change his style now, it is down to the manager to play to his players strengths not vice versa Exactly, he has 153 goals in 385 league games so it's quite obvious we should play to his strengths. It may also lead to better football instead of whacking it 70 yards to nobody which seems to be Villa's favorite tactic of late Corrected for you :-).

It's a shame Roy didnt pick Cole, could of done switching him with Baines last night. I thought they played well, Rooney had an average game and was over shadowed by Sterling and the other attackers. Next game I would start Barkley for Henderson, drop Rooney and play Lallana or the OX on the left.

What a joke that second half was, midfield were shite. Gabby our motm based on 1st half performance, Westwood a close second. We should of sold Benteke and Weimann when the rest of the world thought they were good.

Defence were good. Midfield were good, especially Delph, below par from Westwood Strikers need to get it together, Kozak and Weimann were non-existent for the whole match! Subs - thought Tonev was better than previous outings, Bowery did what he does best.....which is nothing. Delph - MOTM, only player which really wanted it.

Just bought dark souls upon a recommendation from a friend. I have to say I have not enjoyed this type of game so much since Diablo II. I love the combat dynamics, how you can get **** up by any enemy in the game by going in swinging and the bosses are all fun. It is definitely a game I will be investing some time into before the new one comes out. I am currently about to go into the depths having just killed the moonlight butterfly. I was fortunate enough to pick up the gargoyle halberd which is amazing. I love farming souls from the gargoyles on co-op. Not looking forward to blightown, looks tough but I want to get some of the cool stuff around there. A question though to any experts here, how can I get involved in PVP early in the game, I would like to duel other players. Where do i get more cracked red eye orbs from? Mat

I know he isnt the best player we have signed but you have to admit it is quite undeserved the way he is being treated by Lambert considering they had options to loan him out. The guy clearly wants to play football, hope we loan him out to a championship club in the window, even if for reduced wages. At least it will contribute to his wages rather than keeping him at BMH at full cost.

I think a striker could be on the cards, if Benteke gets injured then we have no reliable goalscorers - Gabby and Andi are too hit and miss, Helenius is at the moment unproven (doesnt mean he wont be good though). I still think we should of kept bent in and around the team and not loaned him to Fulham to score goals (which he has already). I would like to see an AMC too though, we need a player who's comfortable with the ball in the final third. I really like Holtby from Spurs, if we can get that type of player it would be great. Maybe a young player from a CL side on loan.
