Yep other countries did it without smashing their history to pieces, some great brutalist arch in italy even but they didn't tear down their history to build it. Knocking all of the old shit down in the 60s and 70s to replace it with shit concrete that needed replacing 30 years later probably. In the name of removing the "slums" a lot of what would now be really nice (look at the jewelry quarter) got replaced with brutalist awfulness. Anyway, strong side that. I like Konsa and Pau as a pair a lot. Digne should be up for it. Hopefully the atmosphere won't get to them and we can play our own game. Lille already showed how good they are with the ball so we need to keep the faith in our own game and try and impose it on them. Come out the blocks fast and silence the crowd with an early goal....

What an awesome initiative! Could this serve as a prototype for a way to get all the away fans together at home games? I think that would make VP a formidable place to come in terms of noise. Our away fans are immense, getting them all together in one place would be a catalyst to really get Villa Park rocking. -

I think we'll need to score twice over there to win the tie and looking at how well they controlled possession at VP I don't think we're going to be seeing a lot of the ball. Going to be tough.

Great win but the problems at the back make going there pretty **** scary. Their stadium will be a furnace compared to VP tonight. Going to be hard, need an early goal. I have a feeling we'll be doing a lot of running chasing the ball. Beat these and we're well on the way though, there's not much better left in the tournament. Positives, we have an incredible goalkeeper who likes to win, we made a lot of chances too. Negatives are we didn't control the ball at home again, we'll have to be very patient over there and stay disciplined.
