  1. If people want a circle badge, maybe we could copy Cercle Brugge?
  2. England going for an England Collapse speedrun today
  3. Starmer's had more incumbent by-elections however, most under Miliband and Corbyn were Labour by-elections. Milliband had 5/19 in 5 years, Corbyn 4/14 in 4 years and Starmer's had 6/9 in 2 years. I feel it's easier to win from an incumbent when the incumbent's are dropping like flies.
  4. Baffling how telling working class people to not ask for pay rises whilst lifting restrictions on bonuses so their mates can pay themselves more might lead to people calling it class warfare
  5. Tigers well and truly back!!! Fantastic performance today to grind that out.
  6. At 1-0 I thought it's a shame it's a WC year as usually a summer like this gets a manager the sack, but he'd have to lose something like 4 or 5 - 0 to be in danger of that, I switch it off and come back and it's 4 bloody nil, I reckon waistcoat might be out of a job here...
  7. You could believe the drivers https://www.planetf1.com/news/kevin-magnussen-nerve-pain-result-of-porpoising/ https://www.planetf1.com/news/carlos-sainz-porpoising-damage-long-term-health/ https://www.motorsportweek.com/2022/06/10/ocon-felt-i-was-going-to-lose-my-helmet-due-to-bouncing/ https://www.racefans.net/2022/06/10/porpoising-caused-huge-water-leak-on-schumachers-car-during-practice/ Gasly mentions it @4:32, Ricciardo mentions it @21:58 Other drivers have acknowledged it's an issue like Norris, Zhou and Leclerc, but also downplayed it's severity.
  8. As long as they get 12 points Forest fans will be happy.
  9. I really don't get why Ashley seems to have been ignored despite this being the alternative. Sure he won't pump loads of money in, but he'll keep them going. Although maybe he'll invest in the club if they don't demand he leaves a year after buying them
  10. Ahh makes sense, I thought Southgate was allergic to a back four, especially against an actually decent team.
  11. Is he playing Saka at RWB? So he has a right footed natural RB playing LWB and a left footed natural LB playing RWB?
  12. One from today had Labour well over 50%, although that difference could easily be margin of error.
  13. He mentioned it in a recent video with Sky Sports and I think Aaron has a middle name beginning with J which is why his nickname is AJ (although I've only ever seen that nickname mentioned on here).
  14. Because no one wanted the job, even Southgate seemed reluctant at the time. It's easy to forget that the team Hodgson/Allardyce left behind was pretty shit, and most of England's best/most exciting players have emerged over the past 6 years. Edit - On that last point, looking at the current England set up, I'd say only Walker, Henderson, Sterling and Kane were playing a regularly and at a level good enough for England when Southgate took over.
  15. I really hate the new Nike gimmick with the crappy collar thing.
  16. That's clearly a knock off shirt based off the leaked designs, and it doesn't even match the leaks. Plus the badge is the "old" badge but with the lion recoloured and prepared photoshopped out.
  17. Ah yes, just ignore all the Spanish accounts of the exact same issues happening to Madrid fans
  18. They referred to Kappa as "The Italian sportswear company" or something like that when we announced them, pretty sure they've referred to the company's nationality every time we've announced a new kit manufacturer.
  19. Ancelotti has now won a European Cup/Champions League in 5 consecutive decades. Absolutely mental.
  20. €250k per month (~£215k), which we've apparently doubled to around €500k (~£430k), so the weekly wage will be around £100k-£110k p/w, not exactly a ridiculous wage for a star player these days in the Premier League.
