No "Heavy Rain" recommendations? I thought it was quality. He said he likes games with a bit of a story and single player rather than multiplayer. Heavy Rain fits the bill and is probably cheap now too.

Well, I've got aunts, uncles and cousins in Ohio. Some of them are Cleveland Browns fans and they hated Lerner. They liked his dad though, just not Randy!

There's a BIG difference though. The Cleveland Browns couldn't get relegated... WE CAN!!! Cleveland finish bottom of their little group nearly every year but it's kind of a case of "oh well, better luck next season" Or to quote Lambert "we go again" "we'll be fine".

Yeah, fair play to him. You would think that a player would want to wait until the summer to see what division we are going to be playing in next season but Andi obviously wants to stay regardless, which is great news. No doubt the club will **** up the negotiations though! Lerner probably won't want to give him a penny more than what he currently earns.

I'm not afraid to hold my hands up and say that out of the managers that were realistically obtainable for us I wanted Lambert. What he achieved at Norwich was remarkable and after suffering through a season of McLeish I thought Lambert would be able to come here and turn us into a comfortable mid table side again, then in a couple of years be pushing on to try and regain a place in the top 6-8. I am also not afraid to admit that I was wrong, BIG TIME!!! I honestly didn't think that things could get any worse than last season and I am absolutely disgusted that they have! He won't turn this mess around now. The damage is done and it's beyond repair. I hate to see us chopping and changing manager as much as we have the last few years but it needs to be done again! The thing is, it's too late! If we sack Lambert now, the squad isn't good enough regardless of who is in charge. A new manager may be able to sort the defence out a bit but we still have no midfield!

I want a team that I can be proud to support again!

Does anyone on here watch Sons Of Anarchy? I wanted to start watching something that I had heard of but hadn't seen before and I decided on this. I watched a couple of episodes of the first season and became hooked. A few weeks before Christmas I ended up going through seasons 1 - 5 in less than two weeks! I watched almost 70 episodes within 10 or 11 days. ****! That sounds quite sad really doesn't it. I assure you that I do have a life and I do go outside.

When people quote very long posts on forums! I've already read it or skipped past it once. I hate having to do it again! Instead of quoting it, starting your post with a simple "@ so and so -" would be fine. I wasn't referring to it but I've just noticed that the post before mine is pretty much what I mean ha ha!

Bradford's starting 11 cost 7,500 to build as they were all free transfers and/or nominal fees!!! We have players who "earn" more than that in a day!!! It really is embarrassing.

Never in a million years did I think that I would be this **** off with the club. From top to bottom it is an absolute shambles. After 20 years as a season ticket holder, tonight was the final straw. It's been coming but it has finally pushed me off the edge. The club can kiss my arse. The last three years have been a disgrace and I can't handle it anymore. When you pay all this money for a season ticket and it comes to match day and you sit at home debating whether to go to the game or not you just know that it's not for you anymore! I won't be attending for the rest of the season. I've already had someone offer me 150 quid for my season ticket for the rest of the season, which I will accept! Randy Lerner, kiss my arse! I'm done.

Well, let's face it. If we can't convincingly beat Bradford at Villa Park then we don't deserve to get to Wembley! The more I think about it, the more depressing it is that we lost the first leg. Bradford are shocking. They are not even a title chasing League 2 side, they are mid table! Between their heroics against Arsenal and their win against us they only won once! Since beating us they lost 2-1 at home to Oxford and last Tuesday they got beat 4-1 away at Crewe, They didn't play at the weekend because of the weather. It worries me thinking about what Lambert is going to do in midfield due to Westwood being cup tied. Playing Bannan and Delph (if fit) in the middle as a two is suicidal, even against Bradford! I don't even need to talk about defending set pieces because we all know how useless we are at that but more importantly, so do Bradford! I have a feeling that we'll score a few and be heading for the victory on aggregate then Bradford will score a soft goal from a set piece and that will be that. Desperate times.

I wonder if they look anything like this...

What prestige are you on lads? I'm just about to hit prestige 7. That's not bad considering the only game mode I've been playing for the last few weeks is hardcore team deathmatch. Also, what gun do you prefer to use? I've just finished getting all of the SMG's gold so that I can have the diamond camo. I know it's geeky but **** it, it looks nice on the guns. I probably use the MSMC or the AN-94 the most. I'm looking forward to the new maps coming out though as it freshens it up a little. The Peacemaker SMG gun that is coming out is meant to be quality too.

I'm all for a bit of "ITK" information as it's better than no rumours at all but when you have people like Julie B with her delusional ramblings then I'd rather not see it! Some people take the bullshit too far. If you are going to try to claim that you have transfer information then at least try to make it believable.

For me, playing long balls to Benteke is useless unless he has someone to flick it onto eg Bent or Andi. Almost every time that the ball is smashed forward towards Benteke he is our furthest man forward. The only thing he can do is either try to knock it backwards or try to bring it down and hold off the defender. If he had someone further forward to try to flick it onto it would give him more options and probably more space because opposing defenders would be wary of someone running in behind. I hate that we often revert to playing long ball, but if we are going to then at least give Benteke as much help as possible when doing so!

They are all slow, not just Baker. The difference is, Vlaar is experienced enough to try to make up for his lack of pace with his positioning. Something Baker and Clark are useless at.

Agreed! Before the game today I would have definitely taken a point because I couldn't see us getting anything at all but after being 2-0 up and throwing it away it really is deflating and although the point gained has moved us out of the relegation places it really does feel like a defeat. I'm not sure that my nerves will be able to manage much more this season. I'm really not looking forward to the Bradford game.

Just heard off one of my mates who supports Newcastle and he said the rumours going around up north are that they are in talks with Bent's representatives over a possible move. This news has obviously gone down like a fart in a lift for Sunderland fans. Just a rumour, obviously, but I thought I'd post it on here.

Cormier will be a good addition to the heavyweight division. It's a shame about Barnett but it wouldn't surprise me if he's back in the UFC soon. Let's face it, they need as many decent heavyweights as possible because the current division is hardly stacked with top quality fighters at the moment. I know Dana has issues with a lot of fighters but I'm sure I remember him saying that Nate Marquardt would never fight in the UFC again? He's obviously changed his stance for that one! I'm a big fan of Gilbert Melendez and for me it is only a matter of time before he becomes the lightweight champion.

I saw what Foster said on Sky earlier. To answer your question "is it unthinkable?" NO, it isn't and unless something is done about it over the next two weeks then as much as it pains me to say it, there is absolutely no chance that we will survive. The squad, as proven so far, is simply not good enough! There are still a lot of points to play for and a few wins would see us mid table but with the way that we are playing, can you see where these wins are going to come from because I can't!

If the rumours of him wanting 75,000 a week are true then this thread needs to be locked because there is absolutely no way we'll agree to pay him anywhere near that!
