  1. It is a very scary time for Villa fans. I feel really sorry for Paul Lambert.

    Poppycock

I last visited England over 12 years ago and whilst there I was horrified by the level to which the British media had descended.I found them to be completely immoral, gutless and totally disinterested in either truth or a good story. I am delighted that the Club responded to that paper which only appeals to the brain dead. Great letter. Des

    Thanks

Thank you Blandy. I live on the other side of the world but I fully understand how you must be feeling even though I can't see the ground other than on the "box". It really is refreshing to read something so positive, again thank you. My thanks to Mr. O'Neill, Mr. Learner and all at the club for making a dream slowly but surely come true. Des
  4. You are right in many respects, but do not get carried away. Young Osbourne does not have it as a footballer, to me he looked completely uot of his depth. I would suggest that if you know someone that recorded the game you look at the match and have a look at how brilliantly the team covered for the lad. Having got that off my chest, thank you for your report,I thought it was a true picture of the game. Again I say be VERY proud of the team and the manager Des
  5. I have to say, watching the game from 13000 miles from Villa park I thought we were going to throw it all away again. After we went 2-1 up we relaxed and very nearly let them into the game again. Fortunately, common sense prevailed largely thanks to Craig Gardner.I also think that apart from his occassional brain explosion, Reo Coker really does look very very good.MON has done a fantastic job so far. Keep it up. Passionately Villa Des
  6. Whilst I agree with your sentiments, the thing I have to ask is where is where on earth is MON going to find the talent we need .There are so many clubs in the same position as Villa in terms of needing players and there appears to be no talent out there worth buying. It really is a worry but I am definitely not going to point any fingers at MON if no players are signed.
  7. What a prat ,its "fans"like you that wreck the confidence of clubs and cause them to end up with no hopers as managers .If you are going to express an opinion about my club ,its manager and its future I would prefer it to be something positive until sufficient time has past to allow the club and its custodians to show what they can truly do. Your negativity is unwarranted and certainly not appreciated.
  8. A very accurate summation ,but if its of any consolation John, watching it from New Zealand ,it is not any easier to take and probably even more frustrating as you only have the tv to scream at & the neighbours do'nt apppreciate football fans sceaming at their TV's that early in the morning.
  9. I thought you were a bit tough in your marking of Bouma, but thats only my opinion.Considering how young that AV team was I was extremely proud of how they played.I was watching from New Zealand & with the way Mr. O'Neil has got them playing I almost feel I want to come home( only kidding).IT DOES MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD.
