  1. This thread is for humble deals, please start a new thread. You could call it General deals if you want it to be for general deals. There is already a Steam thread.

Do you know the omate is an android phone? You can put a SIM card in it.

The pebble is good. I've no idea what price it is selling at now to know if I'd recommend it. I suspect the omate is going to blow it out of water and then you can buy mine
  4. Sorry, I can't be more help with Windows problems. I don't use it for a reason.
  5. If you have an issue with multiple browsers then why this topic title? You are logged into chrome with a Google account. What is the part of that email address after the @ sign? It could be your av. It could be malware. I'm mobile or I'd Google it for you.
  6. Who is being militant? I just think this thread has run its course and now people feel they are supposed to put everything into one topic.
  7. It's no bother. I think it will be more useful for people to find things that interest them if we have more threads rather than one massive one. Also, it'll make it easier for people to use the "follow topic" option.
  8. It's been set by enterprise policy. Who owns the domain for your google account?
  9. But things like this last question are nothing to do with mobile phones. People have just got in the habit of posting everything in the same thread. The iphone thread is quiet now. If that needs the same treatment later, it can be done later.
  10. This is nothing to do with Android. I guess it's Google Calendar, but there are tens of Villa fixture calendars out there. I think it might be time to close this thread. People (including me) keep taking it off topic. It might be better to have separate threads for different things.
  11. I don't see how it can be the site unless it affects the same user all the time, or all users. One user with one browser suggests that it's a problem with that browser, especially when it's just been updated.
  12. The only similar reports have only affected a single browser and have been fixed by clearing cookies and cache. Does it happen if you use a proxy?
  13. Clear cookies and cache. Back out the update. Revert to your last working backup. Re-install windows. Use Linux I'm not stumped.
  14. Some senior person at Motorola has said that he sees no reason why they can't produce a phone like the moto g to sell at $50 within a few years.
  15. New iOS version submitted to app hell today. Just bug fixes.
  16. But there isn't a separate thread for no contracts
  17. The only time I've calculated a contract cheaper is when you compare to the exact length of the contract. If you keep a phone just one month more or less than the contract term, it's usually more expensive to have the contract. As we see here, if you lose your phone it's a lot more more expensive. It's the time period (lock in) that makes contracts unacceptable for me, not the price.
  18. If you need a phone while you run out your contract (why do people have contracts?), get the Moto G. You can buy them SIM free at Tesco and there are other deals if you want to look around on line.
  19. I'm not sure that's true. micro-USB can do full DVI so it definitely can do audio. However, bluetooth is the way to go if you can, but if not a 3.5mm jack - £30 tops.

    General Chat

I understand, but the problem is that your referees may then get annoyed if they are contacted by a variety of people. I wouldn't want anyone who agreed to give me a reference to be contacted until the offer was made.

I've never put references on a CV. References are supplied when an offer is made.
