That's just so silly. Look I can understand why you might have voluntarily expunged our crappest from your memory, but Leonhardsen and Mark Kinsella immediately say hello. Isiah Osbourne, we still have Tshibola on our books ffs. Salifou, Jean II Macroon ( forgotten actual name ) Djemba-Djemba, Berson?( I liked Berson tbf ), Chris Herd, just a few others who were actively bad or not good enough.Bjarnason has offered more than all those easily. he's far from the best, but if he ends up playing occasionally this season where injuries happen, I'm fine with it. I'm so bored with absur25 points

My 50th birthday today. Day off work. Wife currently cooking a full English. Thai meal out with the family tonight. Flying to Vienna on Friday with best mate of 42 years, who is 50 on Thursday. Life’s good and it’s not even a Wednesday!15 points

I think you’ve misunderstood what @villareport posts on his twitter account. He is basically a Villa news aggregator (a twitter version of Newsnow) and merely posts what is reported on Villa across the web. He never claims to verify any of the information as that is not his purpose; he simply posts Villa news reported, it’s up to the reader to decide the veracity if the information. Think you should understand what certain accounts do prior to unfairly judging them. Personally, I think his account provides a quick and immediate summary of Villa bits and pieces in one place and is pretty useful11 points

We need to stop bitching about Xia selling any sell on clauses. Xia kept us out of bankruptcy long enough for us to get our current owners in. Wyness wanted us to go into admin so he could get his mates to buy us on the cheap. Xia has many faults but he was a breath of fresh air at the time, allowing Villa Fans to believe again. The first year bills were paid and he was pumping money in and we did a lot of Spending that first Summer and then Bruce in that first Winter transfer time. Something happened where he was no longer able to pump money in etc but he allowed Bruce to bri9 points

You are not wrong in your appraisal of Neil Maupay, he will be every defenders nightmare, small, quick, nippy and able to turn defenders inside out at times, just look back when you played us at Griffin Park and look at the reaction of Mings when he done him up like a kipper and scored. We know It’s on the cards he will be on his way to you once we have signed our new forward, that’s why he’s not be involved in pre season matches, as we are protecting him from injury to get a price that is suitable to both sides. If you do get him you will not be disappointed, he’s the hardest workin7 points

Re: the 3 at the back option. There's no point working on Plan B until you're happy with Plan A. Four at the back still allows us to play with one DM and one striker (4-1-4-1, 4-3-3), two pivots and a striker (4-2-3-1) or two box-to-box CMs and two strikers (4-4-2). And you can vary what types of wingers you use - Jota will tuck in and do more defensively than the other wingers. That's plenty of variation to worry about already. With so many new players joining, I don't see the benefit of playing around with the defensive line on top of that. Especially since Mings is the only player5 points

Reo-Coker is one of the worst passers to play centre midfield for us, probably even worse than Jedinak5 points

2019 has been quite a difficult and stressful year for me, arguably the worst of my adult life. Today I had probably my proudest moment on a personal level, collecting the keys for my first home. I don't have anything there yet. But I went after work and just sat on the living room floor for over an hour. It was great.5 points

I just think Brentford are a bit more ambitious than a lot of you give them credit for. Sure, they have been selling huge amounts of players every year, but they are now at a place they have easily the most talented, competitive team in their history. With 3 years left on his contract and with far fewer key players leaving this summer (as well as completely breaking their transfer policy by getting Jansson) I think they'll be gambling that they can get up this year and if not they can sell him next summer. They have good cash reserves and a pretty much paid for stadium on the way.4 points

I have been watching a lot of Japanese videos about culture and food and stuff on YouTube the last few months, mainly 'Only in Japan' and 'TabiEats', now and again the missus' lad watches a few with me but outside of that never talks about it. Anyway, me and a friend were going to Yo! Sushi in bullring for lunch today and he asked to come at the last minute. Okay. So we sat down and picked up a few things and out of nowhere he started using the chopsticks like a pro, asked the staff to bring him some takoyaki (fried octopus doughballs) and Ramune and then the best bit, he busted out the4 points

Does anyone have conversations on the phone and you don’t know who you’re talking to? I had a number ring me earlier which I didn’t know. The other person obviously knew me and asked me if I could get him a bag of cement this week. I said yes no problem mate. I then asked how he was doing, and he said he’s alright, he’s just trying to sort himself out, and he’s chilling with his dad. The convo ended with i’ll let you know about the cement, and he said cheers mate. I haven’t got a clue who it was. It’s not the first time I’ve done this . For the life of me I haven’t got a clue who it was.4 points

Even with a new leader Labour would not win an election. It's gone beyond that right now. A new leader would only stem the flow of votes from the party. New policies entirely required and we're years off that happening. In terms of Brexit it might be best in the short term if Corbyn stayed put and destroyed the party's public standing completely. Labour has almost destroyed itself in its Welsh heartlands, an opinion poll was published the other day that gives Plaid the most seats if a Welsh Assembly vote was held now. Let that sink in... Plaid are currently looking like the party most likely t3 points

Couple of points to note - Transfermarkt is awful for any kind of statistical analysis and throughout his interview he talked about bringing the ball out from the back, controlling the flow of the game and shouting instructions to the midfield in front of him. It could be an elaborate ruse I guess, but he is under the impression this is to be his primary position. He also spoke a lot about god. I mean a lot.3 points

Interesting! I've not seen or heard about this very rare and specific form of AIDS for a long time. But you can be sure it's definitely AIDS. It's a kind of a neural brain AIDS. Usually you get it from a tick that climbed into your ear one night and set up shop in your cerebellum. I wouldn't worry about it.3 points
