I havent been posting on these forums for very long so i honestly cant tell if people are trolling. How have you came up with this statement? When redknapp was in charge they was known for being awful and pathetic. It was basically Austin keeping them in the battle. Chris ramsey is in charge now and apparently has been since Feb 12th. Since then they have record of....W1 D0 L5. How exactly is this more fight than us? I hope they carry on this "good fight form" because it sure will see them down. Jesus wept, such hyperbole this forum is after one weekend of results

I got to be honest I am finding some of the negativity in this thread a bit hard to stomach. Three weeks ago we had just beaten Sunderland 4-0 with a fantastic first half attacking display and a controlled and professional second half one. This the culmination of a three game run that had seen us take 6 points from 2 league games and reach the semi final of the FA Cup. Things were very positive. What has happened so bad since then that a few are now wavering ready to pounce on the still very new to the job manager? unless I am missing something we have played the eighth placed team in the league who are no mugs and lost through a late goal and yesterday played away at Old Trafford and lost to a Man Utd side in great form and desperate for the three points. Against Swansea we played okay and a point wouldn't have been an injustice and yesterday we tried to contain an excellent side and play on the break but failed. It happens. The Swansea result was a disappointment I'll grant you especially after what went before. The Man Utd result was expected. I think though what is getting some down and questioning the manager is not our results but the results of other sides this weekend. Had QPR and Sunderland failed to win then I doubt very much many would now be questioning Sherwood so openly. I think we need to put things in perspective. We win Tuesday, and I am extremely confident we will, we are six points clear of QPR with six games to play and next up they have Chelsea. We will also be six points clear of Burnley and next up they have Arsenal. My message now would be a simple one. Back the team and the manager. Be it at the games or in spirit. Sherwood had no control over what went before and the slate was wiped clean for me when he arrived. What he inherited was a group of players on their knees in terms of confidence and where with all in terms of how to win a game. He has lifted their spirits enough to see us take a point a game under him. If that continues in the next seven games I believe that he will see us safe. With our help though his job, and that of the players, can be made a little easier.

Lambert had the same issue. His job is to manage the team. Difference being Lambert was managing the squad he built over two years. Sherwood's working with another mans squad after 8 games. I don't think injuries are a valid excuse for most managers as it happens to them all, but I think a bit of context needs to be used before jumping on Sherwood.

Had we got a point V Swansea I doubt VT would be such a flap. We are in a far better position than if Lambert was still here. We are odds on to stay up and it is still in our hands. And we have a Wembley trip to look forward to. Gil is the usual 'better when not playing' footballer that we have all seen before. Personally i haven't seen enough of him to judge him bar a good goal v Bournemouth reserves and a decent performance v Chelsea. Tracking back he is found wanting so far. I trust Sherwood is picking the best XI he can think off and has not mysteriously fallen out with Gil.

There can't be a player in the league less deserving of a regular starting place than Weimann.

Yeah apparently qpr now are world beaters since they beat that shite team we beat twice and we lost to a team called Newton heath. And according to some we have a clueless manager who knows no tactics and who hates foreigners especially from Spain and we'd probably have won our last two games had we played him (well i believe that is the gist I think!)

I was never too impressed. Incredibly slow, average touch and not much good in the air. Took his 4 goals well but I can't see him as a player that should be starting week in week out. Probably ok as a squad player though.

Yes. Even if that player is an all out attacking midfielder, like a James, it gives the opposing midfield something to think about. It forces one of their own central three to retreat and it gives somebody like Sanchez more time on the ball, something he seems to need too much of right now. Carrick couldn't believe his luck on Saturday. He literately just had to be "there".

9 games and he's going to lose support. Glad we gave him a chance. Jesus I think McLeish was given longer than Sherwood has been. Gill for player manager next? His job is to keep us up, losing to QPR takes us closer to relegation. Of course he will be judged.

Not being able to quit coke/sprite. IVe had litres of the stuff every day since i was a teenager and ive tried to quit about 150x in the past 4 years. I just cant do it. I can last about 2 days but then i "relapse" (lol relapse when talking about a drink ). Starting to get old and my metabolism isnt as fast anymore ! Im getting skinnnyfat but i just cant quit the stuff. sigh. 138 calories in one can of coke. its insane. Addiction is too strong. Nothing beats a nice cold can of coke

Looked more than up to it in the Liverpool and Chelsea games. I don't really see him as a luxury, he's good enough to walk into our side and have a positive impact on games. The bottom line is that he should be getting a run of games as far as I'm concerned.

He needs to drop the 4-4-2 now. He was asking them to press more in the second half yesterday, but this was an impossible task given how easily they were overran when they did so. We are set up too ridged to play anything like the expansive, quick and crisp forward game he purports to want from them at all times. However, the seeds have been planted and a couple of average performances allied with disappointing results do not mean that the ground needs to be dug up once more. He himself needs to show ability now and tweak the system to allow those shoots to grow. I believe that needs to begin with a change to a 3 man midfield in any flavour you like. Also - Whatever is "wrong" between him and Gil needs to be set aside too.

We had no fight but qpr did against a side thAt had no fight either. But now qpr are world beaters by all accounts and we have regressed to be useless again

Pretty much summed up my thoughts on this election. I'm thinking Tories are the least worst in a "better the devil you know" kind of way.

Vargas and Austin looked pretty sharp at the weekend. I think this is a MUST NOT LOSE as opposed to a MUST WIN. If we do lose we will really be in the shiit, and probably odds on for the drop.

Nothing has changed after today Our destiny still remains in our own hands like it has done all season Regardless of what other teams do i couldn't give a toss get the right amount of points and we will stay in the division Only 2 - 3 wins and a few draws and we will be safe

Well said again Mark. In addition to what's been said I would add there is far too much knee jerk stuff going on about every result, both for us and others. People saying we didn't beat xy and z.....yet had we beaten Swansea it would've been 4 wins on the bounce....when was the last time we did that ?..?it can happen, but it not happening really shouldn't be either a surprise or a reason to criticise. Likewise people saying if we don't beat QPR we are down.....just not true, all sorts of variations can and will happen between now and the end. I think we have the players suited to bright attacking football which we have played, or tried to play, for the most part since Sherwood arrived and I think over the whole period left that will do it. I don't understand the, at times ludicrously over the top, statements about Gil....why are people so desperately keen to see all manner of malevolent reasons why he isn't playing...?....it really isn't that much a mystery that he prefers who he does to someone totally unfamiliar with what's needed in English football.....I'm not saying Gill shouldn't play but why on earth not trust the manager ((the other day somebody regurgitated some half ar##d article from his Spurs days as 'proof' of his failings. Odd how his detractors simultaneously say he has barely been a manager for five minutes, yet, oddly, seem to think that same brief period is enough to know all his strengths, weaknesses, habits, traits, etc. I've seen nothing to suggest his substitutions are bizarre or that he lacks an awareness of tactics. Always funny when people are so quick to assume they can see so much more than the manager

The brother in law adores Lovejoy, so i get to enjoy him regularly. I remember once they had a woman on who specialised in matching perfumes to different things like colours, items of clothing etc. (there's probably a name for it, not that he asked). Rather than let this woman speak, Lovejoy took the opportunity to interject approximately every six words about how he couldn't wear aftershave because it gave him headaches or something. The woman then tried to tell him there was a name for his condition, but he talked over her again (probably worried it might be a legitimate medical condition and not proof that he's some sort of highly evolved being). It was hilarious viewing, she'd get him to smell about twenty samples, all corresponding to different things, and his response to every single one was "Nah, see that's too chemical-y". You could see she was starting to get annoyed at this point, and after a few more detailed explanations of how he couldn't be doing with all the chemically stuff, she snapped and pointed out "Yes, well, everything is made of chemicals Tim, even you!" The look on his face was that of a man who'd stared into the yawning jaws of infinity and seen a massive word removed looking back at him.

I wouldn't touch 16gb now but I take a lot of photos with my phone. Obviously it's very easy to keep on top of it these days as backup is so simple and you can dick about with music and podcasts incredibly easy too, but a year or so into owning my 16gb Nexus 4 the storage thing became a daily battle. One I could keep on top of quite easily but also one I really couldn't be arsed with by the end. My next phone (iPhone 6 plus) was 64gb.

"Should" suggests that he had unfulfilled ability. I'd argue that he wasn't capable of anything better and never will be. There is nothing he is actually good at.
