Maybe it's an injury thing? I would make damn sure our medical guys are front and centre during any due diligence. Both have had long term injuries. Admitted Eze's was in 2021, but Olise has had long spells out this year and last with hamstring injuries.

The key point for me. Being a player does not give you skills to be a good manager. Being a manager teaches you these things. The best ones have worked (and probably failed a few times) at places where they can work on those skills without the pressure and expectation of top flight football.

I can’t help thinking (without technical knowledge, measuring angles, or counting rows/seats etc.) the way forwards could be Remove boxes from DE stand. reprofile into single stand (adding rows) incorporate new GA+ in this new design stand that could give the extra seats, but also it tees the stand up ready for the new north stand to work better as the pitch would be the same as Trinity road stand? It would sort the viewing issues lower Holte? And finally allow a future extension to DE stand (remove couple of rows so height matches middle Trinity and New north stand, and build 2nd tier on top by building around stand. I may be well off in terms of what’s possible, but if that does work then to me it makes sense to do that before north stand

I think the premium on them would be too much for us. We’d be paying over market value for them and that doesn’t seem the Monchi/Emery way. Seem like Man Utd signings all over or maybe Chelsea given the London factor.

Not picking on you per se, but I've seen this implied quite a lot i.e. people seem awfully confident Hamilton will be able to beat Leclerc

Quite easily too, far from impossible and thats why i am overly cautious and hoping some of us don't get ahead of ourselves and think Chelsea will be a clean sweep because this is not going to be straight forward especially after that huge loss they will be looking to bounce back heavy.

I feel like who ever goes in for them would need to buy both. They’re generally more effective as individuals when playing together

I love this and it’s great for the players to see the welcome. My only gripe was that we stood there for an hour with my nephew, that even though we thought we got a good position the players got off the coach and walked the short distance in and my nephew got blocked by the stupid car in the way. It wouldn’t hurt the club to stop the coach 20 metres earlier and let more people see the players.

It'll fix some things and break other things. The patch is worse on PC because it adds almost nothing, but will 100% break 90% of the mods. On console at least those players are getting 60FPS and 4K for their efforts even if half of the creation club mods break in return.

Palace have publicly put price tags of £60m on Eze and Olise. Is it just me that thinks they might have gone cheap on those?

I think we'll move a few on this summer anyway (like 6 or 7) and Percy reckons we're after a few players. We have a lot of increased income and if we get CL too, it makes even more sense.

i would love Olise, he is quality, but i would guess he would spunk most of our budget, so probably not a good signing with that in mind. However, we need to be finding these players before they command 60m+, ie: like Palace did with Eze and Olise for a combined 20m ish, or Spam did with Bowen (18m ish), or Leicester did with Maddison, Mahrez, Kante etc etc. also ie:, hopefully like we have with Rogers. I can see us getting some leftfield signings this summer, mixed in with some "normal" ones.

I really love this and it sets the tone, I'm hoping Saturday will top Bournemouth atmosphere wise and will be more hostile for Chelsea with it being an 8pm Saturday KO.
