nobler
Strange game. We did look pretty lost and all over the place at times, Blackburn missed a great opportunity to go 2-0 up. Heskey comes on, completely changes the game, settles the team and we played some lovely stuff. Really pleased we pulled through.
jonno_2004
Well done, Gérard. Special mentions to Lichaj, Warnock (some great passing) and NRC. The latter two with mixed reviews of late but played well tonight. Extra special mention to A. Young; where would we be without you.. Not forgetting Ivanhoe either, inspired substitution. TheSufferingVilla
Can't remember the last time a sub had such a massive impact on the game for us. Emile take a bow.

GaztonVilla
Heskey was a model of enthusiasm, movement, desire and (gasp) skill. In half an hour he did more than Carew managed. In spite of Ashley's 2 goals, Heskey got my MOTM vote. Until Heskey's arrival we looked rudderless. The final third of the match, it clicked, and we looked purposeful. Redditch_Villa
Didn't get to watch the game but by what i heard, Heskey virtually come on and turned the game around. As it stands spurs, everton, citeh and chelsea are out, we have a chance!

villianusa
Only saw the second half the stream so have to go with Heskey, scored one and had a hand in the other two. Ashley was very close with two very well taken goals. Great to see both center mids getting back behind the ball in the 85th minute. BBC said 66% possession for Villa at the end. Nice! Hope the injuries aren't too bad for the Gabby and Carew. Baggies next round please.

Cracker1234
Well done lads...I have to admit I didn't have high hopes for tonight, I thought all them changes would be bad for us, but we pulled through and finished really well.
